I wonder how many of us have ever sent gifts to one or a few of our LP porn girls? Be it for X-mas or birthday or whatever reason?

Not talking about support calls because of illness or mobile stolen etc.
Just gifts - for which ideally you expected nothing in return.

Btw, poll idea was given by Tabitha Poison who asked frankly about sending X-mas gifts to her a few days back on her IGy live. I deemed that quite cheeky and pushy actually, but I know a lot of social media girls - porn or not - do the same.

From porn girls I know that they like receiving gifts of their fans because it also shows a recognition of their actress work. They dont like the grease gifts though, usually.

I never did a gift to a pornstar. What i'm going to write could be more extense but i'll try be short.

I'm a person that respect and admire each women (also the guys) who decide to do porn.

As a costumer of porn movies/scenes, my best way to support them is buying their works(that includes support the studios), this is how i show them the proper recognition to them.

I never been a person who use too much the social medias, i use these social medias as a reader.

Also i never tried to make contact with some porn girl through the social media, i read here that a lot of users, including you, are regular doing that, i respect you but i dont do it. The most similar situation that i had was here in some replys in their own threads.

I like be in the "background", i mean, here is the forum of a porn site on i can share and discuss of porn, also if some girls are active in their threads, well, is an extra that i appreciate, but i never went more further.

There are some reasons but for me is a little bit controversial, e.g: Here i used the chat to contact with some directors but mainly for technical reasons about their studios but the context is reasonable when i'm a costumer of the site.

I fully understand that they use the social media to promote them and get the support of a lot of followers and to make contacts but just the fact to make contact with a private message is.."weird"

I can be a big fan and have good intentions, maybe the curiosity just for know more about a particular pornstars would be enough but at the end is just another of the hundreds/thousands messages that they receive, something that i think is normal, more if we think that are porn fans (too much fanatics).

I would lying if i say that i wouldn't like know more or even see some of them in person in some event but for me is go to far the fact to make contact directly.

At the end i'm someone who loves all about pornography, but i don't like be annoying for no reason.

Why do you think that makeing or sending a gift to a porngirl is annoying.

You made me think so, usually I dont contact porngirls I dont know anyway via social media. I only do it for a higher purpose, like for getting an LP interview. Apart from this I did contact Kira Thorn about a touristic detail in Goa early on and for some time we chatted along. Social Media of porngirls has become important for me but only as an info channel, not for communication. On social media info channel I see however all these calls for X-mas gifts or B-day gifts. I personally would never just click and send something from an Amazon etc. wish list. I made gifts to porn girls, but small personal ones, basically the same way I would make a small gift to my neighbor if I know s/he likes something I just happen to have or stumble about.
A gift without personal connection has little sense for me, charity yes, but not a X-mas gift.

About the highlighted: In some point the pornstars you know better was because you did contact when were unknown to you in some way.

Well, i wrote the "annoying" word at the end, and doesn't make reference to the fact of sending them a gift, was about the point to make contact, in a more privately way, throught the social medias, i explained my own view of that.

That is why i tried to be short, my way to say thanks to them and recognize their work is supporting what they do. About send them some personal gifts, i never thought about that, being realistic no one of them belong to my close group of friends or family, i'm a fan who love and respect what they do, also i desire that everything goes right with them, that is why i purchase and support their scenes.

I know that this could be an extended discuss is some more people share their thoughts, but that is how i see it.

Maybe I wasnt clear enough: I use social media like you mostly just to fellow our porn girls, get updates of their bookings and plans, its just info for me.
But as you know, I also do this LP forum interviews from time to time and for this I do get in contact with some of them I'd like or forum members would like to get an interview from. Thus I do contact some via DM but for these interviews, neither for personal reasons nor for sending gifts.
And with some porn girls I was in contact before they got know, yes. But it's a margin.

Me neither, I dont send gifts to girls asking for it like Tabatha Poison mentioned in OP. My feeling is that many of these girls want to use their fans for personal gain, fans are an easy pray for them and I dont want to be that.
This said, other fans do exactly this and it might be a fulfilling experience for them. This is the discussion I wanted to open here with this poll. So far it didnt happen. Maybe over X-mas more forum talkers feel like sharing experiences about giving and receiving gifts - ideally to/from our porn girls.

Votes have doubled over X-mas, but outcome is the same.
So many girls are asking for gifts of providing gift links, but looks like forum talkers dont fall for that.

With so many girls still asking for gifts in social media I guess silent forum readers send them something, active ones rather not.

I don't know what to think, just you and me are the only one who posted here, i guess they don't want to show an opinion about this.

No for me. You usually almost see them posted/requested on their social media. They might as well take all those gifts and money while they can. Make that paper as they say! The Amazon wish list is the most common one, followed by whatever brands they want or like (Especially designer items or electronics). Most have a link list that has all their platforms you can check them out on, especially methods to send money/tips/gifts. The biggest issue I see is that most users don't realize (or care) it will never be more than a parasocial relationship.

If someone wants to gift or tip to their hearts content, it is their personal decision for better or worse. Although, most guys likely still have it hardwired to give gifts in hopes to get their attention or some type of feedback. Chaturbate will usually have streams going during either their "Birthday" or holidays where you see some of the popular ones literally get a shit ton of stuff. You can see the same thing happen to other platforms too like Twitch. IMO, I think most guys should probably bust a nut first before they finalize any gift/payment. The clarity afterwards may allow you to make a more sane decision LOL.

Porn is just another form of entertainment for me. Sexually attractive/lustful women doing the naughty shit. Worst case, if I'm super thirsty - I might hit them up on X or OF and direct message them. This may involve some tipping (OF is notorious for it, especially if they don't run their own account), but worth a shot to shoot my shit and see what happens .
