Slow Downloads

Why are downloads from Pornbox so damn slow? I barely get 7MB/s, less than 5MB/s most of the time.
Takes forever to download large videos, especially 4K, of course, but large 1080p videos also take quite a while.

Also time of day doesn't really matter. So it's not related to "rush hours" or something like that.

I was wondering if this should go into the support forum but since it's a general problem and not specific to a particular video, I rather posted it here.
I also wonder if others are having the same problem or if it's just me?


Hmm... one hour after writing this, I bought another scene and all of the sudden I get 16MB/s ?!
Still not great but significantly better. Weird...

I found in the terms of PB that they don't guarantee a high speed download. Is quite weird not guarantee a good download service, sometimes i have to wait more or less 20 mins for 12-14 GBs..

Good... or rather bad to know. Thanks for that info.

When I wrote my original post, I had just been waiting close to 18 Minutes for a small 6GB 1080p download.
If the servers where up to it, I could download 6GB in less than a minute. They just aren't.

And the 15MB/s I got for that one file where nothing but a fluke, apparently.
After that, it went back to a measly ~4 to 6MB/s.
