I agree. I think the main reason so many studios are only doing 1 girl scenes is just plain laziness.
NRX however stands out having a good variety to their content. And they often do 2 girl scenes. More often than anyone else anyway.
But i feel they have still not really mastered this genre. There is often no ATOGM and there is often no, or very poor, interaction between the girls. They need to study Sineplex who where the true masters of multi girl scenes.

We are not talking about lesbian porn here, a scene with just two girls. We are talking about a scene with two girls getting fucked by one or more men.
There is nothing inherently boring about a 2 girl scene. All sex acts and all types of performances that can be carried out in a 1 girl scene can also be performed just as well in a 2 girl scene.
We just have some additional perverted flavor that the girl-girl interactions bring. The only downside that i can think of is that the focus and attention can easily get split up. And that can be frustrating.
But if done right, that shouldn't be an issue.
