Why is no one else doing what Porn Fidelity is doing?

Porn fidelity admittedly has some really vanilla porn and this isn't an advertisement for their content in general. However, to give credit where it's due they're killing it in image quality with the high framerate and super high bitrate and 5K resolution. And yes, you can see the quality difference even if you're watching on a 4k monitor due to the source and the bitrate. Anyway, just wondering why all the avids studios seem to be using the same setup since 2017, and are even going backwards in terms of bitrate posted on some videos? The DPP, DAP stuff would be EYE-POPPING crazy with the porn fidelity setup.

Like I said, even a facialabuse 60kbps 4k quality would be great. Those files are 20-30 GB per scene. Instead though, analvids has gone backwards and is now posting crap 15kpbs files.

Regarding 8k, I admitedly don't know a lot about the process, but understand if you use an extremely high quality 8k camera with a highbitrate and then downsample to 4k, the 4k file will look better than it would have otherwise. I'm not sure such a camera exists yet or would be viable outside of VR porn.

Yes, facialabuse.com (also ghettogaggers.com). These sites offer 4k for download through a portal for extra money, but the bitrate and quality is insane and the file size is 20-30gb per file. It's the best I've seen quality wise. Unfortunately I don't really like the actors and much of the content is too extreme/racist/sadistic for my tastes. It's still strange to me that it's only this extreme porn site that uses 60 mbps, and no one else.

a few days ago i subscribed based on your posts (thanks for that suggestion).
anyway i tried comparing Pornfidelity 5k vs 4k same video on my SONY 65inch OLED TV. I sit 6 feet away and really could nit tell any difference or even which was 5k or 4k version.

it could be i am using the wrong software to play - i used Quicktime Player & IINA player and Elmedia Pro. They are all able to play 5k.

what are your thoughts?

To my eye the 5k videos look a bit better, they jump out, and have almost double the bitrate of the 4k videos.

However, here is the thing. Most of their 4k videos are encoded at 25 mbps, which exceeds the current 15 mbps downgrade on this site. For that reason, and also per the lighting and general production, their 4k videos look good too; so you're going to see diminishing returns.All else being equal, there's more of a visual difference between a 4k 15mbps video and a 4k 25-30 mbps video; than there is between a high bitrate 5k video outputting to a 4k screen (but there is still a difference).

As an aside, I tried VIP4k at someone's suggestion on this site and that site beats anything I've seen at this point, except for maybe FA.

The other thing to mention is it's always best to choose the same bitrate on a lower framerate (FPS) if given the choice, at least if you have an LG OLED for motion. I'm not sure how the Sony does it, but with an LG the motion smoothing is fantastic (if you know what you are doing in the settings), and you can make 30fps look like 60fps anyway. So, if you're spending the same bitrate on a lower FPS, you'll have higher quality picture. You can see this, for example, between the studios on here who post in 50fps versus those that do 30fps. The 30fps videos look better. Now if you can have an ultra high bitrate, and also include 60fps, then you can have the best of both worlds.
