Hi All

Been a member for years, from back in the original Sineplex days (happy days!!). Now we have have hundreds of low quality studios, who is actually approving these uploads and descriptions? We've always had tagging errors but I'm talking blatant lies in descriptions. Eg wrong models, listing acts that don't appear etc. Eg: Antoniosuleiman https://pornbox.com/application/studio/994. Claims Honour May in ass to mouth or various girls doing anal when clearly they aren't. This isn't a typo or tag error but obvious attempt to trick the buyer. That's just my latest example but I'm sure you all have other examples. How can this be stopped? We already have to filter out loads of shite now plus the scammers!! Thanks all.

Yes happened to me with a Antonio Suleiman scene....no anal when it said anal....no longer purchase them
Legalporno/Analvids has seriously dropped in quality...too many crap dated scenes...too many samey models

Feed is 100% essential, but stuff still gets through, because of these deceptive practices. I won't even try the new studios. How can anyone that is in business that plans to stay in business think deceiving their customer base is good practice?

I check new scenes on pirate sites because the feed is very qualitative there, no gay, trans content and no amateur bullshit. I can see all AV scenes but also other premium site content. It's very user-friendly.

I don't give a shit anymore. It's enough. If a scene is great and if I want more of the girl or the style, I go on AV and buy it. But I try to avoid the store completely. The delay is 1 day. I can live with that. If the prices will increase more, I will stop buying. Just use the forum. I really would spend more time in the store. But it is getting worse and worse. I don't want to hide everyday dozens of scenes and shitty studios.

I'm not sure how they can adequately police the model names, descriptions and tags being added by content sellers trying to gain clicks for their wares, or the copyright ownership of content being sold here.

Can they even sell enough from the hundreds of new smaller content providers (no trailers, crazy prices) to pay the bills for hosting and site infrastructure?

I don't know.

At least a few established studios still make content that I enjoy enough to buy it. And I just don't look at any of the rest. Life is too short.

I have always advocated purchasing porn because I want them to keep making it. Almost every time I join a website it is for a year subscription. 90% of them have some fine print or nothing you can find at all that charges my card for a membership to a site I have never even seen. Sometimes they will refund you but they usually try to make it a pain in the ass. Other times I have to issue a charge back on my card. Now most sites limit your bandwidth or number of downloads. Like you said, every piece of porn on the internet is available free the next day. It is hard to treat a company with decency and respect when they are more than willing to shit all over you.


I don't know what their numbers look like, but it already looks like the main studios here are not doing that well. Judging by the number of releases and BTS compilations etc being released. We have already lost a few decent studios. Porn is already being taken over by crappy amateur and single model sites. I will keep buying from the main studios for now. Who knows how much longer we will have even half decent pro made porn.

Think you hit the nail on the head there.

The real question is how they figure out to make a studio pop up because I really doubt there is an application process that involves human communication. By the way it looks, it seems there is a page somewhere where you can automatically sign up confirm your information and proceed. This is way too random to think someone is meticulously checking these.

But my problem is I still care for good porn. So what do I do:
There is 15-20 pretty established studios I can trust with descriptions and model ID by 95%.
The rest I absolutely cant trust and I just ignore them.

I usually buy my scenes using the sex act tags. If its those 15-20 studios I know and trust no problem and easy shopping for me - provided the price is still fair. But IF I spot a alleged DAP by the likes of Suleiman or an actress website and I am really interested in it, I very very carefully check trailer and screenshots and only than in 50% of cases I risk buying such a scene.


I'd expect pornbox to degenerate further. I also started downloading most newly bought scenes again and will do so now with my vast backlog I counted on streaming so far. But the mess points me to be a bit more cautious...

This all said pornbox still present the best porn I can get and even if this shop turns more and more into an utter mess, it's the only one I wanna visit. Sad but true!

Really good in comparison seem the days when it wasnt clear when next Sineplex scene will eventually drop and whether it will be 1 or 20 scenes. But at least there were not 222 more complete crap studios also releasing their so called porn on pornbox.

On reflection, I think Pornbox have adopted a comparable business model to Xvideos and to social media companies. The bulk handling of content is "self-service" by content sellers and customers using automated systems. Pornbox stay "hands-off" and just manage the infrastructure and collect the money.

Darwinian selection will eventually winnow out the unpopular content which simply won't sell enough to encourage those content sellers to continue.

I think probably the tags are entered by content sellers when they upload their wares, and the deluge of content being uploaded for sale every day suggests that Pornbox personnel could not moderate or police the tags if they tried.

Some sellers may be lazy and omit tags, or actively mislabel their content attempting to game the system and gain more views.

So, it's hard for a customer to filter out the stuff you don't want and focus only on what you do want to see.

The only solution I've found as a consumer is to use the "Feed" tab to "follow" the few studios who make content that I want to check out. That way everything else is automatically hidden, regardless of tags. Some people have posted that the "Feed" doesn't work for them, but luckily it still works for me.

That's how it looks to me, I wanted to upload mine, but they know something I don't. That automated self service for sellers is probably somewhere. I just haven't figure it out.

This means as a user you also have to apply self-service modes. It's a bit of a jungle, but somehow it still works. Because if we stop to support the studios which still use true descriptions rather and rather tag scenes right, we'll end up with nothing professionally produced to watch again.

There are many ways to fool people in porn industry. One of the "smartest" is when you are on the page where you make the payment, there is another site marked with the smallest possible line and the order box is already ticked and you don't notice anything. I've gone this cheap a few times, but luckily even a fool learns. Another way for studios to cheat is that VAT is visible only in the terms of use but not on the page where you make the payment. Who the fuck can wade through the terms of use every time? Oh yes, of course the studio knows this fact!

And then phenomena that I don't get tired of criticizing (regarding big studios as well), i.e. DAP is marked but only the other cock moves. This is cheating no matter how hard you try to deny it! If you claim the video contains DAP, so fuck be honest, respect the viewer and then do it too!

However instead of denouncing all that wrong advertising for psycho health I prefer to point out the good examples.
