After lots of protests a few studios start to shoot real goo endings again - usually cum-in-mouth or facials. Still, many studios still shoot a lot of (usually 100%) faked creampie endings or obviously faked facials in NRX-style.

For a long time my explanation for the lack of authentic money shot was a visual shift towards 'piss' making cum-shots less desirable for a majority of users. Not sure however how valid this explanation is?

What is your feeling: Has piss decreased real cum-shots in porn?
If you remember the piss ban (mid 2017 to mid 2018?) this might help to assess effects.

There are ofc also many aspects of decreased real goo endings, such as...
- overworked/overbooked studs
- studs getting older
- higher value of private life
- consistence problems / graphical visibility
- girls comfort zones

I do think real cumshots have become less common but I'm not really sure it has anything to do with wet content? Personally I'd be all for a complete ban on guys pissing to see if it helped but I think one or two may object...

I don't think the two are linked.
My personal belief is that porn studios will get away with whatever they can. If they could sell us an anal scene where they just lretend to have anal sex they would, 100%.
They have realised that they can pretend to have cumshots via fake creampies especially or even injecting fake cum down the guys urethras (NRX especially, as you say) and people will be fooled.
The annoying part for me is that short of seeing the full 4k or 1080 footage, without the silly trailer editing, it is often nigh impossible to tell whether you are being duped or not before committing to purchase. I dont think piss content has decreased real cum-shots. Those two things are not connected.

The main reason is: overworked/overbooked studs.
Male cannot produce so much quality thick sperm for the next cumshot if the scene schedules are too tight.

Yeah, I don't think piss has anything to do with it. In my opinion it's gotta primarily one of two reasons:

1)The girl doesn't want to take a real creampie due to health concerns. This is definately a thing with some models - heck, I remember when even some studios like Evil Angel banned it.

2)The extremely limited male talent pool are shooting so many scenes per day that they literally are unable to cum (or if they did, the amount would be so tiny it would be embaressing.) It would not suprise me if some studios are shooting 2 or 3 scenes back to back on the same day with the same male cast (a lot of whom are probably also shooting amatuer OF-style content with models in their free time anyway) - the guys just cum for real once at the end of the day, and everything before that is faked with injected fake cum. The male talent pool is so small it's no surprise these guys are overworked and can't produce a decent amount of real cum in each scene. Ideally, you'd just solve this problem by getting some more studs in, and increasing the size of the talent pool, but porn companies are always extremely hesitant to cast new males, as they don't want to take a risk. I suspect another factor is the pay is so low for the guys, that if they want to make a career out of this, they have to shoot dozens of scenes per week, no matter how cum-draining it is.

My original point was that if it's going to be faked I'd rather it was done this way, as there's the ability to give the guy the benefit of the doubt that it may have been real in a way it just flat out isn't with the current Gaviscon or whatever it is that's used for fake cumshots. Seeing no cum is better, to me, than obviously fake cum.

In terms of guys shooting too many scenes, it would be nice to think that directors might prioritise models who don't do this as surely they'd get better performance across the whole scene, not just the finale.
