A lot of girls in porn are hot/cute/sexy.

I think it is the make-up, costume, lighting departments who do a very good job to make the girls look the absolute best they can in porn scenes.
A lot of porn documentaries suggest that you can make an average looking girl look amazing in porn, and with the right attitude and willingness to perform, they can churn out superbly intense scenes that fans adore.

Here, in fact, I see a clear problem on the part of EU Studios. I am absolutely not a fan of the Vixen group, but many of the Euro girls shooting there look so much better than they did in Europe. One reason for this for me is a more decent make up and the clothes. Vixen makes the girls look classy. GG more like meth addicted low budget strippers.

I like models to start scenes looking as classy as possible, and actually a reason I like high heels to stay on for much/all of a scene is precisely to maintain this. I do though find that as make-up tends to wear off through longer scenes, the more natural/raw look of the hopefully turned on model's face only improves the scene. This annoys me too.

I watched Limar Cord's first scene recently which honestly still manages to be great despite a number of flaws. One is that her panties stay on for virtually the whole scene, and her bra is never removed. Her nipples were wonderfully hard the few glimpses we got too so the latter was a real shame.
