But I think the best pornographic pilgrimage I made was to Godollo airport outside Budapest where in the hangars, Cassandra Wild made hugely memorable scene about 22 years ago (Euro Angels Hardball 5).

I suspect they may be but it will be interesting to see if anyone else has done any porn-related tourism like you. I can't say I have I'm afraid. When I think back to favourite scenes I'm afraid I mainly remember the girls rather than the locations. I guess if I were to think of a trip with some porn links it would be to St Petersburg but this is obviously not even remotely viable right now!

This "over top" DP in picture 4 is very cool but rare. This particular camera man is focusing on the ass of the man but if they got a more normal guy who focus on the woman, could be perfect example. The "over top" DP is cool because it allows equal turning of the guys to pump her.

I did make sure to check where the LP/AV studio was when I was in Prague. All I did was walk past it though!

I remember waking around central Budapest for about three hours trying to locate the Cathedral & environment where Private XXX 6 with the beautiful Kathrin Brut was filmed with Robert Malone.

I was focusing on the Cathedral towers.

Just had an explore with Google maps streetview and that definitely is the Sacre Coer in Paris. Here's where I think the original photo was, outside 12 Rue de la Bonne in Paris .

Good spot. I was staying the other side of the Sacre Coeur earlier this year.

Before I die, I would love to go on some kind of porno pilgrimage...go to things like the AVN Awards, the AVN Expo, and other similar porn-related shows, award ceremonies etc etc.

I think for me, you have to understand, I love the late '90's Private etc stuff that situated itself with idyllic Mittel-European beautiful palaces & cities when those countries badly needed their tourism spots promoted.

For me its like visiting old battlefields etc... "to think I'm standing here where this happened x years ago".

If a scene is shot outdoors, I try to identify the place.

How do I proceed?

Google image search and Google maps help a lot. I look at the screenshots, I use Google image search, I walk through cities on Google maps, I observe urban architecture etc.

I it find entertaining and instructive. It gives me the opportunity to learn a bit more about the city/the country where the scene is shot. Once I find the location, I search for some extra information about it.

Of course sometimes I’m not capable of identyfing the place.

What’s the point of my posts?

First, I just wanted to share my porn-related hobby.

Secondly, perhaps it may motivate some of You, fellow users, to do Your own research and learn more about the locations frequented by our beloved models ?
