Sorted by replies and not views TOP10 post in Model Forum has actually 1/3 of replies compared to TOP10 of Model Forum only. Again girls more popular than porn! Concerning nr. 10 post sorted by replies it is 1/4 of replies only.

I remember you explained me about Kahli Noire model forum vs general forum.

I think the reason is: we try to rebuild the world in the general forum

doing Polls, asking member's feedback about various topics whereas the model forum is focusing on the highlighted side of porn....girls themselves!!!

Personally I'm much more interested in the general section, as I'm mostly interested in seeing good scenes recommended, or to discuss general preferences/ideas.

The Models section is great for getting news on specific performers, but there are just soooooooooo many girls (and literally dozens of new scenes added per day), that I find that section a it overwhelming to try and keep up.

Absolutely!

One reason is that the model threads will get more views is that on every scene there is a link for people to click on to go there, which isn't true for this section.

Hi. Here are some possibilities (?)
1. Average visitor is at this multi-functional place to see a model and buy a scene. Most are not here to discuss porn in general, especially if they are horny. When I first came to this place several years ago, all I thought about was Benta, and not porn in general.

2. Average visitor is not really that devoted to the fine details of porn. The site adultdvdtalk has 55,000 to 60,000 members. These are the people most likely to want to discuss porn or their preferences in detail. That is a very small percentage of the whole porn-watching population.

3. Titles for Model threads are often short and to the point. You want a popular model, just look for her name. Titles for the General thread are often long and not as focused. Too much work to go through all sorts of long titles, even with a Search function.

4. Visitors may think the General Forum is only about girls found here. I myself have just seen how comprehensive the General Forum really is. When I noticed that one of the General threads was about Who are the 3 Favorite Best Looking Pornstars Of All Time, then I finally saw that the General Forum was really quite extensive.

5. Different sitenames like analvids and pornbox for the same basic "location" (I am not sure what word to use.) When going to the discussion from analvids, it can be confusing to newbies as to how things are connected, whereas if pornbox was instead something like analvids.com/pornbox, it would be less potentially confusing.

I thought I would answer while I was still learning to navigate.

Good question, I guess people focus on the star of the scenes, which are the female or TS models.
They do not feel as much affection or need to post on the General forum, as they feel more towards the performer rather than other things.

I suspect it's just that most people who look at the forum do so to look at or comment on a specific girl. After all, it's the female talent that is the main audience draw for any porn site.

It still amazes me how much time you have to make all these analysis projects and numbers and totals

I think the Model Forum is actually not very useful right now because of information overload, as a result of so many daily releases. I think a new Forum needs to filter the popular models and newcomers into a separate forum (Maybe Forum highlights). Maybe the Top50-100 active female porn stars (worked out by popularity and sales and the top 10-20 newcomers at any given time).

Hi Alan. Thanks. And I was about to suggest or ask if the Model Forum can also include those models who are not from this site but are from the past or obscure! But I think that it could work if each thread simply had a model's name you could search for and find easily; but if the model has new releases every week, a given active model's thread could get pretty overloaded, as you suggest. Maybe instead Model X - 2021, Model X - 2022, etc.

At the same time, there are a number of models from the quite a few years ago who made just a few scenes, and it would be cool to be able to summarize those here in a small thread for each girl. And for us to comment on them. I like how comprehensive the forums here are, but they can get at times unwieldy, and I think the submitted images are often larger than they need to be.

I guess what I am saying is that even if there were 1000 pages of model thread names, if you can find the model you are looking for, it might often still be a small thread, the way many articles in a traditional monster encyclopedia like the Encyclopedia Britannica are still manageable and informative things to read.

I didn't read any of this. But I'm going to say 2 reasons.
The first one is what I do on every trailer I watch. I click on the link to the forum right below the video. There is No links to the General forum threads so I'd assume it works like this. More views, more potential clicks. Meaning everyone that comes here PornBox that is, watches the trailers. Probably several times since you have to purchase each one, at currently absurd prices.... So then they go to check what people are saying about that scene.
I'd bet a LOT of money that almost NOBODY comes to the forums ONLY.

Secondly, which I believe is the real reason (& IT NEEDS TO STOP!).
BECAUSE THEY SPAM THE SHIT OUT OF THEIR OWN FORUM!

I agree with your first point and I posted the same above. I'm not sure what you actually mean by the second point though? I post almost exclusively in the General Discussion section and have no idea what sort of content here it is you think 'needs to stop'.

By "obscure," I mean a model who only made a small number of scenes, or even just one. Especially if she did not have a consistent name, or any name at all, to go with her scenes. And ideally was hot enough, at least in my own view, to have made lots of scenes. The main criterion would be the number of scenes. For instance, supercutie Vanessa Valenzuela, who made 6 original scenes would be called obscure, although she has a consistent name. So let's say no more than several scenes.

Another way to qualify as obscure, for me at least, is if the model actually made quite a few scenes, say 15 or more, maybe even has or had several names, but did not speak English, or did not say much or anything at all in the video. I have a book on making video, and one part of it emphasizes how important good audio is to making a video more realistic. One very quiet supercutie who comes to mind is April/Tamara (and some other names). She is/was a slender, smooth-skinned cutie, and is at this site. She was with Rocco, and also at EuroSexParties,

Another criterion is if she was only at one or two websites that we might have never checked out, or which themselves were not well-known, or were around for only a little while, but the model was hot. There was a model from the now-defunct site tryingelderscream.com who made two nice videos there (at 15 fps!), but who had no name and was a supercutie. Also I think platinum blonde Natali from the Ferro Network is obscure, although she has made a bunch of scenes. She to me is "classic" obscure.

So for obscure, some general possibly independent guidelines:

1. Several scenes at most, unless very quiet or actually quite vocal but not in English
2. Very quiet in all or most of her scenes
3. Speaks, or is vocal, but not English (I know, not fair!)
4. Only found at one or two websites
5. Has the looks and/or attitude to have become a well-known adult model
6. Never interviewed, either for a scene or in the porn news world

One of my favorite obscure models is Wendy Muller, who made about 50 scenes. She almost never speaks English, but can be very vocal and is very sensual. Despite a high number of scenes, and her stage presence, I still think of her as obscure.

I have several such obscure models in mind to display, but before I add them to the forum, I do wish to know what you have planned regarding an erotocuties thread, as a few obscure models are also in that category. I am not quite sure what was planned in general.
