Here is a list of the camera tactics that infuriate me.
NOT ENOUGH EYE LEVEL:
Not filming the actress from above her, at eye level. Something these studios rarely do. Eye-level viewing is apparently not for sale here.

FROG LEVEL:
Filming the actress from below her waist, from the floor, from below the bed, couch or whatever she's lying on. And then moving off to the side of her, coupled with tipping the scene, and tilting the scene. You can buy this kind of crap all day long here. There's tons of this crap here. I absolutely hate watching this tilted crap.

HORIZONTAL OFF TO THE SIDE:
Filming the actress from the same level as what she's lying on, off to the side of her.

FACE ZOOMING: Zooming in on the actress' face, repeatedly, and lingering there leaving out all the other hot action that is going on

STANDING OFF TO THE SIDE: Even while her legs are wide open, filming the actress off to the side of her, knowing how bad we viewers want to be centered between her.

ZOOMING THE DOG: Nearly all doggie sex with the actress is filmed close-up, 5 inches away from the penetration, off to the side, and rarely centered. Nothing infuriates me more than when the actress is being pounded in her ass doggie style, and the person holding the camera refuses to get directly behind her. That view is not for sale here. And if the camera does get centered behind her, he refuses to back off and let you see the whole enchilada.

The studios know what we want to see. And they're using it against us. Let's face it. Will they ever change? That being said, which one of these shithole camera tactics do you hate the most?

Didn't think I'd find theory discussion on here, its refreshing. I agree with you. Porn consumption is and has been, by and large, a visceral experience but in the last decade it has even become somewhat more perverse than ever before without consideration for the experiential aspect, if you will. You brought up some excellent considerations on how to humanize and even elevate the experience to a whole new level without gimmickry or gratuity.

One of the main benefit or advantage I feel photos have over videos are exactly as you've outlined. You can enjoy the visual feast at your leisure. Some photo sets do a better job of capturing the model than others but overall, there's a better opportunity to enjoy the model in photos than say a video.

I think there are many angles not yet tested which could allow for great views. I like under up a lot.

What is most important is that you get a view both of a swollen, slimy butthole and a facial expression at the same time or that there is a matching zoom in zoom out.

It is also important to only move sideways when zoomed out or the movement will be very quick.

a) Because of money. Follow the money. These videos are ALSO sold as "pay-by-the-minute". It is in the studio's best interest that you NEVER cum.

So they create these movies to torture men who love women. Let's face it, these movies are a form of visual torture. Hot, hot, hot, hot women, who are videoed from the shittiest angles, and viewpoints, to the point where you're pulling your goddamn hair out; or you just want to take your computer and slam the fucking thing against the wall.

This is one of those "designed to piss you off" camera tactics where they center you up close. Your dick is guaranteed to deflate after they do this shit to you. It goes something like this.
You've been waiting and waiting and waiting for a center view, right between her wide open legs. But the jackass holding the camera is standing off to the side of her.
