Two years ago models in the 18-19 yo range used to be a more common sight for Gonzo and GG studios. But now they seem to have all but disappeared. Why is this?

Besides Kelly Oliveira and Valentina Milan we have to go back 2 years!! to find another teen babe for Gonzo.
So two recruits from south America and that's it. Where are all the young European girls? Where are the new Czech girls? Is it really impossible to scout European teen babes anymore? Or did Gonzo studio just decide not to do it for some reason?
Is it part of that rivalry with woodman? Since woodman recruits teen babes left and right then Gonzo studio refuses to do the same thing to set themself apart? Is it some strange misguided moral standpoint?

Giorgio Grandi have done slightly better for himself. But teen babes are still extremely rare with many moths waiting time between the scenes. Not at all like two years ago and before that.
Why is that? Did he decide to put less energy and effort on scouting and shooting teen babes due to all the difficulties with working with newbies?
Was it just easier to make movies for the freak-show crowd that dont give a flying fuck how the women looks, or even if it actually is a women or a man in the scene for that matter?

Maybe its part of a global trend. Teen babes also seem to have disappeared from US porn. Not even Mike Adriano who usually goes out of his way to work with teen newbies seems to be able to find any.

The Prague studios were always dependent on importing new teens from Eastern Europe and it's just been put on indefinite halt now due to the pandemic. Having never been a fan of the GG styling especially, I can't say I'm too upset with all new teens staying in Russia now that we have NRX, VK, VGF and FAPLEX to keep them busy.

But like hjohjole said, Woodman still manages to find non-Russian teens to work with, so for sure there must be many factors that need working on if Gonzo and GG wish to stay relevant.

I am convinced that preferences have changed, it can be clearly seen in many comments on this same forum... I mean, people ask for things that are in very bad taste for me.

Well that is true for GG. He certainly did import many models from Russia and Ukraine. And he still do, just no teens.

In my opinion the Russian studios have much higher production values than the main Prague studios and that has to account for something to a new model. I also think that for Russian teens especially, traveling abroad is probably quite daunting, not to mention difficult to organize, unless their agent takes care of everything. Studios and agents seem very tightly coupled in Russia as well and sharing models is not as frequent as it should be, and they seem even less interested in sending their models to Prague. But it might also be that the main Prague studios have simply gone complacent, recognizing that they can get away with cheaper models without loosing too much sales, and thus not willing to invest in order to bring in teens from the east?

I think perhaps the girls who do leave Russia, are the ones that either are too low quality for the main Russian studios to even consider wasting time on, or models who have burned their bridges for doing more work for those studios, for whatever reasons.

Practically: Passport and visa issues: 1 day after turning 18yo they can shoot for easily, but if they dont have an international passport yet it takes them some more time.

Yeah, I see you point to a degree. NRX especially does amazing work showcasing the girl in 1on1 scenes, but has struggled a bit when moving on to DP, DVP and DAP. Action often isn't particularly intense and in the early days their camera work was quite bad to be honest. NRX has however done an excellent job at responding to criticism and continually improving on every aspect of their performance, and now I would say their camera work is very good. You are really very wrong.

First of all, whatever we pay in Prague is more expensive than anywhere else in europe (and not only). We pay more to gain less, just 2 cents to clarify. Who is shooting in Russia, for example, spend 1/3 per scene than us and gain probably the triple per scene.

There is no reason to invest in recruiting in the way I did before, because after we spent 5k to find a model (because to find a model has a cost, they do not grow on a pear tree in the garden), she got hammered the same day after her first scene goes online from anyone else (really the same day, even few minutes after her first release), from someone (other studios, agents, recruiters and whatever social hooker you can dream about) that even try to put pile of shits on me.
