I'm kinda thinking of the style of Le Castel & early Steve Holmes, Yves Baillat etc... I don't think its possible anymore. These guys were ploughing virgin lands, particularly Hungary, where the daughter of local mayor might've been pushing to be in latest movie. In fairness to all directors today, that type of absurd comic element, its niaivity, is simply gone?

Do you remember this Spanish guy dressing up like a clown or sth with his crew and funny fucking the girls? Completely forgot his name, but he was one of the Spanish main talents around 2000 and got his lines with an US porn company.
It was pretty light stuff, never past DP, but sometimes so funny to watch.

There was also AlCapone or AnalCapone aka Robert Rosenberg from Czech with his baseball cup in girls asses and his funny gangsta character. Much harder than the Spanish guy, but also some tongue-in-cheek jokes.

Would it be possible today? - GIO did something along this line with his Clockwork Gang.
Neeo is quite a funny actor at times. But he's not performing anymore or at least currently not.
You need the right actors for this. Brian Ragnastone could be funny maybe judging from BTS, but he's not at all on films so far. Same maybe with Stanley Johnson.
Mike Chapman maybe, though controversial in his style.
But most important is a director with a concept first, than he can find the studs able to do it.

But Neeo must be back first and GIO would have to think of a truly funny role for him not entirely dependant on his daily form and daily mood, but a concept, a figure, a story!

Its an interesting point. Le Castel, Steve Holmes, Franco Roccaforte, Yves Baillait, Roberto Malone all were very well endowed, whch like it or not, gave them a self-confidence that relaxed them, & probably that self-confidence forged their personalities in some ways. Plus they were usually a bit older & the life experience they had meant they didn't care about being out of shape etc. Galanti became this quickly too, to an extent Kessef & Jamaica, but I don't think their personalities suited... maybe Neoeoo is the new heir? To me probably not. I don't know.

Then add to that, the crazy scene of mid-late 90's too when to exaggerate a little, the granddaughter of the former vice duke of Moravia was queuing up to be a pornstar.

Guys like David Perry & Rosenburg to today's Marcus etc, had to depend on a boxer or model physicality that just wasn't as charming & more about them. I think this is a crucial aspect of issue. Cristian Clay & Tony Brooklynn just seemed to really hate women, this Mike Angelo too so they had no sense of feelgood humour.

Then you've the new porn, the viagra, where a guy like Ian Scott, who was just as funny as the 'legends' mentioned, now has played for LP especially a pretty humourless role, like he just wants get rid of a crazy itch.

I think something has died, but its hard to put your finger on it...

Its not really a question of a lack of comical storylines. Even bring them in & they just don't seem to work anymore.

If we take the Ian Scott of Christoph Clarks Euro Angels and Euro Angels Handball of 20y ago and compare him with Yanick Shaft aka Ian Scott of LP 2019/20 we see a quite funny chap turned into sb static and hardly ever smiling at all. Ok, with CC he could relay on more experienced fuckers and play a lighter role, while in LP he has often the responsible anchor part.
