Depends. Sometimes it suits the girl and their outfit/demeanour, sometimes not. I voted yes. I like it, especially on young girls, but of course this suits some better and worse others. I also love the cosplay with the girl calling the guy "daddy" and sucking a lolly as seen often in American porn, the series HookUpHotShot by Bryan Gozzling is a great example.
In general I like more variety, also in hair styles, with pigtails, braids, buns, ponytail and othe kinds of tied up hair. The new scene with gorgeous Flick Luchik is a good example of a nice and suitable hairstyle.
