I've been a fan of LegalPorno from the start and I've spent a lot of money purchasing >150 scenes. I think now it's got to a point where every single video is worth more than 3 tickets, while the cost of tickets remains the same. This is a hidden extra cost. When it gets to the point where you have to pay $1000 to be able to get ~200 scenes, I think it's getting out of hand, no matter how good the content is.

Either tickets need to get cheaper, or the ticket costs per scene need to go down, in my opinion. What does everyone else think?

Why have you released two scenes like this in two days? Just charge the correct amount for one movie. Why are you separating them? I haven't regretted buying a scene lately, but the recent Angel scene was disappointing.

I add also that to make money on LP is hard, very very hard.

Said that, even if the actual system of LP doesnt allow it, image I had released only a single movie for the same total price. In this way it really became expensive (did you ever think about that many people buy only the part they like?). Release a single movie would force interested people to do not buy or will force people interest only into one part to buy all. Its actually a way to make it more affordable. Which brings me back to my idea yet again about multiple edits. Giorgio, would really appreciate your insight as to the feasibility.
The point is, it's not just about how much a movie costs to make, it's about how many copies you can sell.
It's not a perfect analogy, I know but: Hollywood movies cost hundreds of millions of dollars to make but we buy them for $15 dollars each.
If you can dramatically increase the appeal and therefore sales of a scene, you can reduce the cost per unit (i.e ticket price)
By releasing different versions of a scene for different tastes, created from the same raw footage, edited to focus on different acts or exclude certain acts, I believe you could increase sales significantly while reducing ticket prices at the same time. Especially since I imagine the market for the extreme end of the spectrum may be closer to saturation than the more mainstream acts ("just" dp, regular gangbang etc).
Again, disclaimer, I have no experence or insight into this industry, I'm just exploring the basic economics of any digital product.

Its mostly us older types that got used to buying stuff before the ease of torrents came a long, that feel like we should pay and contribute to keeping the business going. Most people under 30 think it should be free and openly mock someone if during a conversation they mention they pay for porn. For scenes like Georgio puts out to even make him a small profit is very hard. THe ticketing system allows them to make more per scene and produce this. Why to US companies not do much Double Anal anymore? Costs, costs, they don't sell enough to make it viable. 10 - 15 years ago DAPs were coming out daily from the US companies and they were putting out hundreds of DAP per year. The sites with flat monthly rates can not afford to do a whole bunch of DAPS so they keep it very minimal.

LP fills the DAP and multiple guy niche better than anyone and that comes with a cost. It is what it is.

One quick and simple way to cut down some costs is to only make scenes with one girl rather than two! Most scenes these days seem to feature two girls. This is such a distraction, ruins the scene and is completely unnecessary. And fewer people buy the scene because they often don't like the 'other' girl and LP and GG end up losing out when they could have earned more!

Before LP came along I used to be a member of PG and Woodman but since I discovered LP I became hooked. Unfortunately, all my favorites scenes are in pre-4K era and I'm still waiting for LP to repeat the magic of old in Ultra HD. But at the end of the day, no one makes hardcore like LP and although they have been hugely disappointing of late, they are still much better than all of the competition! - if a girl costs more than the scene costs more tickets
- if there are more boys, than the scene costs more tickets
- if its more than 1 girl, than the scene costs more tickets
- the more demanding acts cost more to produce and later also more tickets, i.e dap is more expensive than dp, dp more expensive than single anal.

In general I think it's not wise or useful to bash or put dirt on ppl of LP on its own forum, so I was about to refuse to react to your post, but I'll take this one personally since it's not the first time you are attacking me or other users with underlying arrogant tone.

You know, I'm a big fan of your style of shooting, but I'm annoyed and bored of your all the time same arguing against anybody who says anything that is not 100% the way you like or if your fans are not hill climbing up your butt. Regarding the TKTs, for me, it's not really about the fact I can't afford the scenes so I'm complaining about the price. Hell no, I can assure you, I could easily buy every single scene LP has released (actually that would be my dream, if they would be all tailored to my taste), so it's not the point. But surely there are many people around (maybe the most?) who can't afford what they like or in the amount they like.

I had to go back to scenes released 1, 2 and 3 years ago
and realized that scenes that used to cost 2.5 tkt with DAP, it's equivalent now cost 3.5 to 3.9 tkts.
Mostly Gonzo scenes, as Giorgio has always been 4 tkt or more.
From 2.5 to 3.9 the increase is around 50% in case math is not your forte. Also scenes are shorter than before.
And I'm mostly comparing 3 on 1 scenes with other 3 on 1 scenes.
Giorgio scenes don't even include pictures anymore and gonzo downgraded the quality of pictures IMHO.
I'm old fashion and pictures are important for me.
And some of us complain that scenes are softer now and I think is because the studs can't penetrate the girls as hard

Avoids alienating haters of DAP, TAP, prolapse, piss that like the girls but are put off paying for acts they don't like. Use that additional revenue (contribution to fixed costs) to subsidise the more niche elements of a scene that us true perverts love. Everybody wins.

Can we get a status report on wet content? It is a niche product but a very popular product. My 3 moth is coming up for renewal, would like to know which direction you are leaning so I can make a decision myself.

I generally don't mind the cost and the split scenes but I find IV ticket prices over the top. They just seem to split scenes so they can charge double

LP succeeded being a kinky anal/gonzo niche website. I just don't share the the idea that it should make the price go up like crazy.

I just stumbled on a scene by IV not even a year old for 1.1TKT. Sigle girl scenes were from 1.1 to max. 2.5TKT, double girl was from 2.9 to 4. Now it's usually 4TKT for single and 5TKT for double respectively, but they started to split the scenes, but production cost remains the same, so it's double income.

You have completely missed the point of my post.

I do not propose that lp produces only generic or vanilla porn.
As xxx says, to attract more customers you need to provide more generic content.
My point is that this does not need to be new or additional content.
The scenes lp make today already include the generic content automatically...they just go on to harder stuff after.
My idea is to create separate versions of a scene that could be sold at a discount to a broader market that do not want to see or pay for the harder elements like DAP, TAP, PROLAPSE, PISS, MANHANDLE etc
Those scenes could be priced competitively against EA/JJ - the pay per scene model makes it even better value.
They still have beautiful women, great camerawork, hot action but would exclude the harder acts. (Personally, I like everything except TAP and prolapse)
By generating more sales from the same footage with little additional cost (more editing, maybe longer filming to ensure both 'hard' & 'softer' versions have long enough running time) it might enable lp to lower the ticket price for a full strength scene.

As I said before, only time and personal taste limit how much I buy so I don't care too much. But demand for high quality porn is not perfectly price elastic. If prices keep rising this quickly, there will come a point where it is too high and lp suffers. I prefer to look for ways to avoid that since this is the greatest porn site in history!
