The Juelz Ventura scene is a disaster

What in the fucking fuck happened? The scene is awful.

She is an INCREDIBLE performer, looked like it was a rough scene for her for some reason. But thats not the big gripe.

HORRIFIC lighting
HORRIFIC color temps that are constantly changing. Yellows and greens? Yuck. Her skin is SO tan, and she looks white.
Lighting is blown out completely. More light is NOT the answer to tight spaces such as a DP. An assistant with a C-light IS. More overhead lights, balanced out with Kinflo's to fill. Shadows are HORRIBLE here.
Director/performer interaction mid scene? Take advantage of cut scenes to direct the performers. Alex looked like a deer in the headlights trying to figure out what the director was asking for. Do that shit before you say action.
NO GAPES. Really? I'm here for the gapes man! In all fairness, it looked like she was holding her butt a lot and it COULD be that she had something going on, BUT cmon, show the gapes! Its like the guy just abandoned the entire LegalPorno gameplan.
No Rhythm- LP scenes are usually great for this. but the cuts were terrible. Male talent flopping around trying to get into position. GET CLOSER UP SO THEY ARE OUT OF FRAME WHILE THEY ADJUST, THEN PAN BACK OUT AGAIN. Day 1 stuff here.
Didn't listen to her and her body. The positions felt forced and she didn't look happy.
DIRTY LENS???? ARE YOU KIDDING? you book all those people, pay Juelz's travel and rate, and you shoot it with a dirty lens? Thats a very expensive shoot to be so lazy. Jesus.

** I want to make this clear. There could very likely be factors that day that we dont know about that made the shoot difficult. It happens all the time to me. I get it. But there are some fundamental, day 1 type stuff that was inexcusable. Know your lighting. Give direction. Clean your equipment. Because what you end up with if you dont is a highly anticipated scene that lets your paying members down, and thats a shame. **

Excuse the rant. I'm just pissed because I was looking forward to that scene and I honestly cannot believe the quality was so low. I shoot for a living to maybe it pissed me off more because I notice things. I'm sorry guys, I mean well. Dont bust my balls too hard for expressing my opinion lol

I wouldn't blame Sineplex at all because they actually did what users wanted:

1) booked Juelz
2) did a hardcore anal scene
3) released it very soon

What I saw from the trailer:

1) Nothing HORRIFIC* as for lighting and color temps. It's a bit overexposed in the beginning but it looks crisp and natural during the scene (at least in the trailer).
This is why I like Sineplex - they don't wash out colors with white and their clips look natural, rich colors and small details. Keep it like that please!

* If you want really HORRIFIC lighting go watch some latest Gonzo/GG clips - they are all about bleached and sterile clinical whites. I also recommend watching some EA/JJ stuff if there is still not enough white color for you.

2) Unfortunately I have to agree about the penetration part - this girl can do harder stuff... But this is her first LP scene so they were like adjusting to her. Hope there will be more with her later

3) Cumshots look nice, but bukkake or milk enema would be even better.

4) There was no dirty talk from the girl in the trailer and I did not see Juelz showing the finger, but I hope she does this in the full movie (can anyone confirm this?). These small things are very important for some users

Overall it looks like 8/10, honestly. Calling the scene EPIC and EXTREME was more like a marketing thing, however Sineplex did a great job! Keep it up!

I would not call it a disaster. Sineplex really have started with a bang.

Okay but now lets get Kagney Lynn Carter, Veronica Avluv, Francesca Le and Dana DeArmond for the next scenes Smash BBC. Maybe you can throw in the other 2 BBCs of Slim Poke and Jovan/Moe the Monster to make it a 6 on 1.

So lets keep it mixed but at least 1/2 more BBCs and more cumshots, at least 2 for each guy.

I hope they do more solo scenes with Juelz. And manage better camera angles in the doggy airtight position and focus more on balls deep penetration rather than DAP.

And consider the issues that OP pointed out and maybe do the scenes outdoors in a sunny day.

Only one scene with Juelz is gonna be a massive disappointment guys!

As a member who has been campaigning for some time to get Juelz Ventura to film with LegalPorno, I was obviously delighted to hear and see she has a scene with Sineplex. I'm not really a fan of Sineplex because of their really shit camera work and unfortunately, it is again prevalent in Juelz's first scene...

1. Seriously, where is Juelz in this shot/position? Obviously more stunt cocks penetrating holes at the same time is going to result in more of the male body appearing on screen, but this is just ridiculous. All I can see are male torsos and the brief glimpse of cock entering some dark area. Silly position that Sineplex should avoid using.

2. One of the consequences of Sineplex's camera work. I'm not sure if this is to do with the chosen camera lens or perhaps an object keeps creeping into the corner of the shot, i.e. cameraman's finger or lens cap. The dark corners are not there all the time, but they appear throughout and are an annoyance.

3. A rather new issue with videos but one that I have heard other members bring up recently. Not the easiest thing to show via a screenshot, but there is almost constantly flashing yellow marks appearing on a performer's body. They tend to flicker on and off. They're quite faint yellow in colour, but they are there and frustrating when you are watching a 4K quality video. There are also other odd artefacts found on screen at time too.

4. The biggest issue with Sineplex for me. I've raised this before and I can only assume it is their choice of camera lens. Everything in the centre of the screen looks great, clear and crisp. However, so often the corners/sides of the screen just lose focus and make that part of the picture look blurred. It looks terrible! When the scene is filming a position like in the screenshot below, quite often the female performer's face is in the area where the picture becomes distorted. In this instance, I want to see Juelz's face and expressions - same with all other performers. All other studios seem to manage keeping their camera in focus, why can't Sineplex?

Overall, I'm glad to have a Juelz Ventura scene on LegalPorno. Although, a part of me is disappointed because it was with Sineplex's shit camera work. Why can't Giorgio Grandi or Gonzo.com film with her instead. I'm very reluctant to purchase any other scenes from Sineplex I'm afraid.

A disaster? I would have to respectfully disagree.

The lighting looked fine to me. Granted, since I don't film or photograph stuff as part of my job I might be less picky than others.

Overall the flow/rhythm was pretty good. However, I do agree that watching dudes re-positioning themselves is something that should be avoided/editied out.

Since the whole "pulling out to show of gapes" thing doesn't really do anything for me, the lack of gapes didn't bother me.

The main issue I had, as always is the main issues with scenes featuring multiple guys, is that the girl at times tend to disappear/become blocked from view.

As far as Juelz not looking happy, I didn't see that at all (There were a few seconds here and there where I glanced away from the screen so I might have missed it). What I saw what smiles, laughter and what seemed like some pretty nice orgasms while she was getting DPed. There were a couple of times during the DAP that she looked somewhat un-comfortable, but considering she's not getting DPed and DAPed on a regular basis I'm guessing it takes a bit to get used too.

I would have loved more dirty talk tho. Hopefully we'll get that when/if she shoots with LP again.

I can confirm that she showed the finger at the end.

Just for the record and in addition to my earlier post, I by no means think this scene was a disaster. Far from it.

I'm just disappointed with Sineplex as a studio for not filming the scene with the right camera setup and not handling the video well enough in its post-production.

But whether it was fair criticism or a rant, I enjoyed reading your original post, leftlanepro. At a minimum you've suggested some categories of production technique that I hadn't even considered.

Yes, the position is very tough to get the girl in. Not sure it was a great position choice but hey it happens. But REALIZE its not working and switch it up. Or better yet, do the photo's first so you can run through all your positions 1st to see what works.... or what doesn't.

He's zoomed so far out to try and fit her tits and face into the frame. Get further away and zoom in a tad. Simple fix.

Horrible to watch for sure. This is usually due to bad lighting and the camera having to "fill in" information. Color temps can worsen this effect.

So this is some Day 1 stuff thats inexcusable to me. This is a combination of 2 factors. Lens choice and f-stop. F-stop controls your depth of field/area of focus, however you want to think of it. Essentially he has focused with an f-stop that is too low and has a shallow area of focus. face is further away than the ass, but the camera is focused on the ass, blurring the face and anything else not at the distance from the lens that the ass is. I usually shoot about f 8 to f1 0. F-stop controls light hitting the sensor too, so technically a higher f-stop would have solved the overexposure AND the focusing issue you mentioned. again, how is this an issue at this level? crazy to me. Now, they might be shooting with a slightly fisheye'd lens that, when pulled all the way in, can distort the image. Im guessing they did this as well.

Overall, I'm glad to have a Juelz Ventura scene on LegalPorno. Although, a part of me is disappointed because it was with Sineplex's shit camera work. Why can't Giorgio Grandi or Gonzo.com film with her instead. I'm very reluctant to purchase any other scenes from Sineplex I'm afraid.

Juelz Ventura aside, I refuse to waste my credits on Sineplex videos which have been filmed so poorly.

I really hope someone from the studio is reading this feedback, because they are most likely small changes needed to production. Surely it would be worthwhile changing your camera lens / educating your cameraman, rather than lose customers?

The DP position in the first pic is often referred to as Wishbone DP position. I'm sure some people at LP know they have a fair amount of gay and bi customers and this position gets a lot of points on the homoerotic scale so that is why it is done. I know most of the guys who buy LP scenes are quite straight and don't catalog the DP positions or your commentary on camera angles, lighting, etc is useful, but catering to a given clientele is necessary and important in business. That is why LP, Sineplex and especially Giorgio scenes also include a lot of double doggy, double missionary, and king of clubs DP positions.

Juelz is a total favorite of mine. Total. That she did a LP scene is FANTASTIC and I thank her and SINEPLEX/LP. I hope there's a 5-on-1 or 10-man gangbang LP feature for her as well.

That being said, the washed-out whites and tint/hue unevenness can't be denied. I agree that, especially when you have a superstar performer, you better have your professional sh!t together as far as technique, setup and execution. Not to do so is unforgivable and a disservice to the performer and to fans. Not to mention it really undercuts the reputation of your brand in terms of quality.

I love Juelz Ventura. Yep, she's probably gotten too much cosmetic work done. Didn't need it.

Might just be me, but I particularly like some of her earlier scenes where she was strung-out on coke or speed, skinny and had pock-marks all over her ass. Man she was a dirty bitch. Cum sucking, ass-stuffed, all-holes filled babe.
