Scene Rental

I would like to see a scene rental option where I could rent a scene for 24-48 hours for a fraction of the cost. Then I could spend say 1 ticket on a 5 ticket scene, watch it and determine if I like it before going all in on a purchase.

I'd actually love this to happen. Not sure if I am a rarity in so much that I never download scenes. I only ever stream and usually only ever watch a scene once, or if it's really beautiful, twice (with the odd exception)

Seems an inflated investment for 60 minutes of satiation but I refuse to pirate however this kind of rental plan may entice customers who have little desire to archive porn.

I concur, re rentals being likely to attract more pirates. The pricing model and business plan for LP is premised on a heavily modified pay-per-scene ($/tkt) model, and short-term rentals would not only be inconsistent with that, it would also cannibalize the primary market ("sales" instead of rental).

LP tends to have long trailers (or as we used to call them, previews) for its scenes, though, so that one is indeed able to make a well-informed decision before committing to a purchase. Many of them include a glance at the pop shot(s), even though that's not an aspect of porn at which LP videos tend to be particularly, umm, potent or impressive. I've quickly learned to watch the whole preview before buying, to avoid disappointments -- like when some damned fool director thinks the best way to present porn is by making Susana Melo wear a shirt and bra throughout an entire performance. I have only myself to blame for wasting money or tickets on porn that doesn't even let me see the model's breasts (probably because the director himself only loves big fake boobs or thinks all porn viewers love big fake boobs).

The previews are only long because the loop the same part in ovee and over again. Sometimes they flip it horizontally to make it seem fresh, but much of it is repeated.
