I have TBs of content saved offline, are there any recommendations for media players (preferably mac comparable) that are good for browsing such a large library? I.e. able to show previews of the video that you can scan quickly through like the homepage on this site?

GOM Player is easily the best since it has all the codecs embedded, no need for extra stuff.
on Mac I would go with VLC.
