My 2017-18 LP review

Back in 2016 I wrote a review of LP then, I wanted to update that. I post here sometimes and ive been following LP and before that Sineplex for scarily about 15 years? which seems insane but there you are – time passes.
I might in this reference some other scenes and sites, I will try to be non-descript and most of these are not current or being made anymore anyway.

Lastly I am not a currently subscribed member, but I have a stack of tickets that I still use to purchase scenes that appeal to me. The important point is that I am still here and still support LP and XXX - trends change and directors and models change, and its my hope that at somepoint things will sway back toward the content that I prefer.

The other big point to make is something I find myself repeating lately that so much of porn like any media is subjective. What the audience are buying is where things go to. So if the scenes I personally prefer have become less and less, then I guess thats the way the wind blows, but things come back around and so I hope things will move back to where we were at 3-5 years ago.

We all know that DP has been around for a long time. the point is that LP does it better than anywhere by a long shot

Where are we in 2018?
Things have changed a lot from 2017-2018 we have seen departure of a core of well known performers at LP even some of the models who showed a lot of promise have not been appearing frequently. There has also been an increase in the age of performers away from the 18-23 more to the 28-35 now that in and of itself isnt a huge issue, but it goes tied in with the increase of other things like fisting, prolapse, TAP. Its a step away from what originally brought me into this studios content, which was for models in the 18-23 bracket giving DP or 0% pussy or Gangbangs. So things have gone down a different route.
Along with this on the forum you see a lot more requests for harder more niche sex acts and it seems that things are just going down for me scenes that are interesting but don't really do it for me.

Things that aren't going away
Over time theres been a change in format and it seems to be here to stay this means:

- Longer scene intro. We used to have the girls arrive and within 2-3 minutes we were into the action, now it can be as long as 15 mins before anything kicks off.
- DAP TAP. This is the standard now, it used to be we had long periods of DP or really deep penetrating Anal so that when the girls warmed up she can take the DAP well. Nope now its just DAP start to finish.
- Less 18-23 models. This was really a core feature of LP for the longest time (even if the ages are not always accurate) but now its changing either to suit content or just maybe lack of available models that has been spoken about with the inability to get the previously staple russian performers.
- Male Smothering. Yup this seems its here to stay, guys clamouring over the female talent to where we can really wonder what we're meant to be enjoying here.
- Loss of Core models. We still don't have any especially regular core models. Most of the time i'm like. who? This actually is important because it helps you know what to expect, and I am guessing its helpful for directors as well so they know what kind of performance to expect. We do of course see some regular faces but its not the solid pool we had in 2013-15
- Tipping. Its become even more a staple of the content. When you're doing DAP in every scene its pretty much a given that you're going to see very little actual penetration unless its a female performer who can take this.

Changes I hope for or accept in 2018

Shorter Scene Intros
I'm going to repeat this from my 2016 overview that If you look back to the 'gonzo golden age' of LP/Sineplex girls would walk in, kiss, contact each other and then straight into assplay with one another, then maybe 3-5 mins later the scene would begin. This to me has improved but we still see scenes where an intro is 10-15 minutes long or even longer, and often not all that interesting. A slow strip, she plays a bit etc its boring and tedious.

I still think that Giorgio's content gets it right most often, where either its straight in the first 2 mins or the girl starts enjoying herself a bit, but this is then taken over by the camera/director in a pov toy session before the main scene. This is far more interesting, similarly 2 girls always better than one.

Take a recent scene with Gabriella Lati. First off its a great scene with a ton of action, plus no fucking around 2 mins and the guys are getting on with it

But compare that to this scene with Ria Sunn and Susan Ayn. Both awesome stars both who perform always brilliantly. its astonishing 20 minutes before anything really happens 20 mins in a 55 minute scene. that means essentially its about 20 minutes of actual action. If the pre scene action was good its forgiveable but it was very generic

The party is over, it was a good ride but sadly its not coming back. Kreme and milk was such an awesome genre, I truely wish it had more popularity or it was just something that even happened now and again. These were some of the hottest scenes and its a crying shame that we don't get them anymore. There's not much more to say than that. RIP awesome white fountains of ass fucking.

Performers - a solid roster please

I've said a bit about the changing age brackets of performers, seems to be several reasons for this when it comes to recruitment. The bit I don't understand is that there seems to be other studios who have no issue finding models, but I'm no industry expert with this stuff so I won't claim to know how this functions. All I know is theres nothing more irritating than seeing someone arrive perform a great scene and thats the last we see of them. Now for sure maybe they move on to other stuff or choose not to come back or whatever any number of reasons, what I feel we are missing is a regular selection of female performers like we had in 2013-15 who you knew you were going to see probably in a 2 week period.

Deep Penetration please

I never thought we'd see this become so little. Lets be clear its not that you never see this but its just a general thing that seems to be less frequent throughout scenes. I remember that we used to have scene after scene of balls deep fucking, but then we started to have the tipping, which people kind of tolerated. Now we have the DAP and TAP so frequently and half the time you wonder, are they actually fucking? or just kind of squashing everything together? Let me just illustrate:


It used to be that at least for a good portion of a scene the female star would be on her back on the sofa with guys taking turns fucking her as deep as possible giving some fantastic gaping action. Then maybe she'd get side saddled a bit, or DPd on the sofa in various positions again balls deep. Throw some DAP in as well while shes sucking on a third guy, but now its just yup DAP DAP DAP DAP DAP and whats going on there?

Its frustrating and I think personally its pretty boring. Most scenes that are all DAP are just an automatic skip for me.

Old SP ATM

Please new focused series - 0% pussy - Gangbang - 3 on 1 - ATM - Broken Teens etc

One thing I think of often is wishing we could get some really focused series in. We have some already like 0% pussy but this could instead of just be just DAP be some really balls deep anal plus DAP switching it up. Gangbang is obviously a generic term but i've said so often that the series University Gangbang. The girls get totally smashed and its just non stop balls deep Anal, ATM, DP, ATP, unrelenting from start to finish.

LP has a ton of gangbang but we don't often get so much of a focus on the gaping or the deep penetration. The series with 3on1 used to be literally one of the best for this it was a staple but thats just slowly disappeared, and I wish we had some series that we used to like ATOGM where one girl is there to get assfucked and the other oral fucking back and forth. Having a sort of Broken Teens series as well with new teen talent and a 2on1 3on1 focus would be a really strong series to bring in again with a DP, ATM, ATP DAP in those scenes.

Double Teamed Teens was an epic series, I wish that LP wouldn't consider doing something similar hard ass and DP fucking start to finish with new girls 18-23

Wide vs Full

Lastly I think the biggest change I can think of is quite crudely from how wide to how full. The focus used to be a lot more on awesome gapes, how big can we spread. Now that has changed to, how much can we fit in there, fists cocks doesnt matter the more the better. I think thats much less appealing but what do I know. For me I think it was much stronger when the girls would fuck and gape fuck and gape. Now its just the endless struggle to see the limits of the human body.

2018

I like to follow whats happening with LP I check it every day and pickup scenes that look good, I don't expect XXX or any other of the producers to take my thoughts into account I am sure they know far better what works and whats necessary - I mean that sincerely not sarcastically - Like I said at the beginning things change situations alter and things come back around. I hope for myself that we see a bit more of the style from 2013-2015 which is where I personally think LP was strongest. That might not be easy with changes that have happened both with models and directors but thats what I hope for.

Nice review. You know kreme aside, I feel like we like similar scenes.

I hope that you are aware of that.

That 3 on 1 scene with Jessica Swan, holy shit it was mighty awesome, lightning in a bottle.
I'm gonna argue that the 3 on 1 scene with Alexi Star, released this year, is pretty similar and even better
and I would also like to add that Gonzo seems to aim for recreating that type of scene more regularly.

Maybe I should stop reviewing just the scenes that I liked and include scenes that I disliked.
The reason why I been operating like that, just reviewing scenes I like, is because my logic is
that If I show what I liked, what I think is good, it will draw them to keep adding those good things into new scenes.

Having said that, I only purchase scenes with models that I like and the reason why I don't really review scenes that I disliked, is because I don't want the negative feedback to be interpreted as "don't hire this model ever again"
because I want the models from scenes that I have purchased to keep appearing over and over.

Inspired by this thread I want to summarize what I think about LP in general, based on 2017.

Super happy with the upgraded download speeds.
Super unhappy with the return of pissing content, lol.
Disliked that Stefano was fired. Although what little content he was doing was heavy on the pissing. hmmmm.
But he also directed some of my favorite scenes, including my top two 10 on 1 favorite scenes.
Happy with the improvements to the website, such as the revised tag system and filters.
Somewhat unhappy with the very unclear benefit of the "suggest a scene" feature as it doesn't seem to make a difference.
Unhappy about the apparent reduction in communication between LP and fans. Except for Giorgio who is always in touch.

Gonzo.

Issues:

Number one issue I would say is the camera they use. The problem is relative,
meaning that you only notice it as a problem, because Giorgio movies look far prettier.

It's like entering a showroom floor where you purchase cars, without doing any research prior to entering,
you don't know the specs of the cars, the fuel economy, the safety ratings, prices, etc
what draws your attention the most at first glance, are the prettier, cooler looking cars.
Those are the ones your heart desires, right? but then you look at the price tag, Holy shit! and move on to the next car,

Now imagine if all the cars were similarly priced, like porn scenes are similarly priced to each other.
More people would buy the "cool" car. I know this because I'm into motorcycles,
and "cool", "pretty", "fast" motorcycles are not so crazy expensive that are impossible to afford.
Quite the opposite, a superbike is similarly priced to a family sedan. SO it's affordable.
Really the issue is more about how brave or crazy you are, rather than how much money you can throw away, haha.

My theory is that Gonzo scenes would have better sales by getting a new, better camera.
Just thinking for instance about Gonzo's Holly Hendrix scenes makes me think, holly jesus! that looks bad.
BTW I like Holly Hendrix, Just saying.
But if you have to sacrifice the 50 fps for better image quality, so be it.

Number two is too many cuts. I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation for this, but they need to work
towards reducing these to a minimum. This is something that worsens dramatically from previous years.

Number three, Gonzo always films LONG intros. LIke they tried a "no intro" scene, ONCE. And SHORT intros are not a thing.
And well, GONZO as a genre is more about as little introduction as possible, and straight into sex. Just saying :P
But maybe the long intros are part of their identity now, I'm happy as long as the sex duration is not shortened, but extended.

Number four is related to long intros and it was that long intros are now correlated to a short duration of the sex.
Short sex bothers me greatly.

Now what I liked short version: Model selection. Daily updates. Improved camera angles during the final part of the year.
Submissive model behavior. Manhandle. Deep Anal Sex. A2M. They include vaginal sex with DP and A2P.

What I Hope for
Luis to begin shooting ASAP. lol
For more emphasis on the sex and less on the intro.
For the models to wear butt-plugs more often.
For the model outfits to be more on the skimpy/slutty side.
For the models to do two gangbang type scenes back to back and offer as one scene, adjusted for a fair price for both sides. Instead of 10 on 1, do a 4 on 1 followed by 6 on 1. Same model, same scene, much longer duration than 40 mins. (Untapped market).
For Gonzo to give a try to Story movies with no goofy acting.
Also, maybe increase the release schedule to 10 scenes per week while old movies last.
