Why isn't "X" feature available (as per the FAQ's)

Ok so why can we not embed videos? Why do we still only have like 10 smilies? WHY THE HELL IS FLASH STILL "ON"??? (you guys know that was killed off almost 2yrs ago right?)
Embeding video & way more is available over at the phpBB forums. In fact VERY MANY MORE features and other functions/widgets/ect are available and up & running over there. So lets not act like this is a up to date carbon copy of what they've developed over there. And put it on them as to why these things don't exist.
I'd be willing to bet there has been for all intents & purposes ZERO added features/functions since this forum was opened up/went live.

So like seriously can we get a freaking update to to at least say 2015 functionality? Everything is SOOOO damn stale around here, it's actually depressing. Like how about changing the color scheme/pallet. Or ***& I know this is ASKING A TON*** having a few presets the WE the end user can choose from!!!???! Crazy concept right.
XXX I hope you see this, because I'm telling you some simple "lip-stick on a pig", the "old spit shine" would do a lot to quell the growing discontent & general ANGER that permeates this place. Make your customers feel like that ALL the extra moneys you want from us is at LEAST partially being invested back in the site.....
It really is the least you could do. (I bit my tongue here)
