AI 'face donor' question

I saw a MSM thing today on AI & how realistically it could impersonate a person. To be honest I was simply staggered.

Do you think that if what I saw was so utterly realistic, a lot of beautiful young women would 'sell' their faces, without ever having to appear in a porn scene, to a porn company to use it & create movies that just look so realistic it's unreal?

Personally, I think they would, & if the realism I saw today was genuine, it's win win for all. I mean the girl doesn't have to even care of her honour, if she's liberally minded at all, she doesn't have to make an effort, it's more a compliment to her beauty. It's not really gonna hurt her CV either if she's going for a job as an accountant, because she's literally done nothing!!!

What are your opinions on this? Will it take off?

Of course that's dependent on what I saw, was it genuine, because I hate fake things, I can see through them generally, & it wouldn't be a turn on for me at all.

But if it were genuine, I think the industry could be reborn.

It would have similar effect as OF. Big studios would bleed since there would be more independant creators, in particular from poor countries. As for face donor, there are plenty of good faces in porn already just that the girls are super lazy and entitled to shoot scenes. I am sure they will sell the rights. You can also generate random face or digitally improve the donor itself to some certain standard. Possibilities are endless and hollywood already uses it.

On the different note, there are some hobbyist communities who use AI to upscale and enhance the old porn from 90s and 00s. Often the results are quite impressive and it makes me wonder why actual studios don't do the same.

Call me old-fashioned but just knowing that the upscaled product is technically just very accurate "fake" information puts me off, I just cannot enjoy watching anything that's AI upscaled. Of course that's just my opinion, but on the other hand objectively speaking it's always better to have an actual re-master based on the source material and I fear that even in cases where that option is still available, more and more companies will opt for cheaping out and going the AI route as it becomes more cost-effective.

I'm with you completely, I mean some battle scenes from Troy or the sinking scenes from Titanic they were all (excuse the pun) gushing over, were rubbish to me. I'd rather have stage-coach 1950's back-drop, but what I saw today, well you make your mind up...
