The Future of the Gangbang Industry

The American gangbang industry which once thrived and was the leader of the genre is essentially dead.

Now it appears the European/foreign gangbang industry - at least the one with quality production and performers - is also coming to an end with Grandi retiring, Gonzo going under and other studios slowing production.

With the emergence of OnlyFanz and other third party websites that cater more to the needs of the performers it appears that casting large and extreme (DAP etc) gangbangs are not financially feasible any longer.

With all that being said, what is the honest future of the gangbang genre in the porn industry? I see it getting worse before it gets better - if it gets better. It appears we are watching a waning genre but mostly because of outside factors and not because porn watchers have lost interest. I wonder if it will reclaim its former glory and how long it would take. Looks like gangbang fans worldwide are going to have tough time with the porn industry for a while.

Thats a very strange phrasing since OF etc. cater mainly for themselves jumping on new society trends for their businesses only. Girls can get terribly exploited by them.

Anyway, gangbang is more difficult to finance because of OF options driving fees into unknown heights and sucking in former porn users preferring more personalized offers. But here at AVLP São Paulo based Yummy Estudio still shoots 10on1 videos from time to time.
Also São Paulo based Mambo studio does seldom 7on1 scenes and Medellin based NTP can shoot 5on1 scenes at times. They all benefit from significantly lower performer fees, being able to buy DAP for much x-times less than in Prague or LA.
Recently also EKS started to shoot 5on1/6on1 scenes in Romania. It's not many scenes, I know, but gangbang isnt a dying out genre (yet).

Important is to pay fair to girls but still market competitive fees!

Well things are always in flux and Porn is no different. The American studio is all but gone, correct. Last year we did see the "pause" of Yummy Estudios over the summer only to thankfully have it come roaring back. Gonzo is dead, GIO is at the stop of his game but I'm hoping someone will take the reigns and continue to deliver top notch anal gangbangs! I know that this might not be particularly relevant to the topic on hand, but I think it's worth noting that a lot of the times, the "gangbang industry" as it were, kind of did itself in. Not from a financial or business stand-point, but from an "artistic" one, lacking a better term.

I don't think the phrasing is that strange. Of course it's a business and it exists to make money, but it's also designed to make it attractive to performers to use, which in turn drives up engagement and income. The way the platform works makes it by nature much better suited to performers than mainstream porn, simply for the fact that it enables them to earn far more money than they otherwise would and be in 100% control of their content and work environment - there is literally no downside for a performer, especially once they get enough exposure.

Overall it is good thing, empowers the girls to run their own thing and enjoy the profits without having to share with studios that are often unfair. Still girls that want to make a name for their themselves can work with studios and then capitalize on their "fame" going the OF or own content route so both avenues work for them.
