4k video downloads still having corruption issues?

Postby lakota123 » Sun Nov 19, 2023 3:11 pm

I thought the issue of 4k downloads sometimes having a corrupted file had been fixed?
I downloaded hundreds of videos as part of my PornWorld subscription this month and now i have discovered that some of the 4k files are corrupt and do not play correctly, now i will have to go through all of the hundreds of videos i have downloaded to check which are corrupt and then make sure i redownload a working version before my subscription ends in a few days, this is a joke :(

Any chance my next rebill date can be extended by another month because of this issue? :/

A problem that has been known for years. Not only 4K videos are affected, but all sizes, although the error tends to affect larger files such as 4K videos

Yeah i discovered to my dismay that some of my 1080p downloads were corrupt also, even more files i have to check and then redownload if it's corrupt :(
I had not experienced the problem for a while downloading from other studios so i assumed the problem was fixed sitewide

As a general rule I always recommend checking a scene plays correctly after you download it - just watch a quick sample from the middle and end to check the entire file is playable, and you don't need to redownload it. I've also noticed that I never seem to get this issue when downloading via the Sheer.com storefront, even though it presumably leads to the same files.

Exactly this. I've been downloading (legit) porn all my life and this file corruption problem is very common and happens with every other pornsite. I always check every download to confirm. Start->skip to middle->skip towards end and let it complete
Porn with condoms is NOT porn!!!

I open them with Potplayer, if there is a corruption issue then part of the playback progress bar is missing so i know right away without having to skip through.

I have had subscriptions for dozens of sites and have only ever experienced this issue here, it seems like when you download a scene on Pornbox there is a 25% chance the scene will have the corruption issue and need to be redownloaded, sometimes it even happens twice in a row.

yes this is also a big issue for me, especially for older releases. pls help us resolve this issue with constantly interrupted downloads. every time i have to resume downloads manually, which is killing me.

every two minutes this download fails, and i have to manually click resume on my firefox to continue. one file would take about 200 manual clicks to be downloaded onto my pc.

is paying for the scene not enough and customer needs to spend labor? is this a challenge on customer patience?

im so confused.
