Hide owned scenes from Store does not work?

Switching the setting "Hide owned scenes from Store" on or off does not seem to make any difference to me when I browse the store new scenes tab.
Where does this setting suppose to have an effect on?
I would make things much easier if I see only scenes I don't own yet in the store.
Maybe I am missing something...
