What was the relation between LP & Sineplex?

It never occurred to me until now, that the Sineplex movie collection, that is found here in scene excerpts, in "Sineplex Classic" section came under the LP franchise?

Any insights would be great.

I've noticed some Sineplex CZ scenes (precursor to Gonzo studio) were recently retagged as Sineplex Classic. I don't know why this is but it's really confusing.

Basically there were three main lines bearing the Sineplex moniker.

Classic Sineplex

Sineplex CZ which was basically what became Gonzo.

Sineplex SOS based in St. Petersburg and Mexico.

I don't know if you've ever read this before, but I found this insight provided by Mr Ananas quite interesting.

Thanks. The Sineplex SOS was a very brief time, when they made movies in South America I think.

But the Sineplex classic, covers a whole area of what were DVD's made in mid 2000's, before Giorgio & GG, & NRFTA. It's a great collection unique to this site. Which is basically why I'm here.

I always thought Giorgio was involved in Sineplex, but I see now, it was actually before his time. I am just wondering how the great Sineplex catalogue came under this site.

It really is a treasure, completely underrated, by most viewers it seems, & also by LP | AV themselves.

It's amazing.

Thanks for your efforts to reply Anselm, much appreciated.

I don't know any details beyond that Sineplex and Giorgio were definitely separate entities but both shot in St. Petersburg which is important because there was a loophole made possible by some court decisions. After a backlash productions moved to Prague while SOS eventually continued production in Russia also retaining the Sineplex name.

Interesting post from Giorgio.

I try but I just can't get into the heads of regular guys like Timo Hardy & Markus Dupree. Had they any idea how lucky they were? I feel the same about a guy like Richard Lenghin from 10 years previous. Did or do, these guys have any idea how lucky they were? Plain looking guys with adequate physiologies getting to have sex with Europe's finest. I can't even comprehend how they somehow thought they were 'worth it'. I'll probably take this mystery to the grave.

There's actually an interview with Timo Hardy. I haven't watched it yet, though.

Yeah, just that host and his whole weirdo life coaching shtick really puts me off a bit. But I bet there are some interesting things in there.

In the meantime dig Ray Davies. Maybe it was no coincidence Mark e= Smith covered this. Man, Brother, this guy was Mark E Smith but with genius. Like I say, if he had the producer behind him, instead of cheap crap... the mind boggles how it might have inspired him to do more... I'm off to bed. Gotta get a ferry in the morning!

Long ago, life was clean
Sex was bad, called obscene
And the rich were so mean
Stately homes for the Lords
Croquet lawns, village greens
Victoria was my queen
Victoria
Victoria
Victoria, 'toria
I was born, lucky me
In a land that I love
Though I'm poor, I am free
When I grow, I shall fight
For this land, I shall die
Let her sun never set
Victoria
Victoria
Victoria, 'toria
Victoria
Victoria
Victoria, 'toria
Land of hope and gloria
Land of my Victoria
Land of hope and gloria
Land of my Victoria
Victoria, 'toria
Victoria
Victoria
Victoria, 'toria
Canada to India
Australia to Cornwall
Singapore to Hong Kong
From the west to the east
From the rich to the poor
Victoria loved them all
Victoria
Victoria
Victoria, 'toria
Victoria
Victoria
Victoria

You might even catch why I love Rome, England, Austria-Hungary, some sort of simplistic order in my simple mind!

Well, I'd argue Mark was also a genius and very well read. He tried working that into his lyrics. There's a whole site dedicated to deciphering his lyrics funnily enough. But I didn't know this was a cover and really Mark looked great in that video. What speed and alcohol does to a man... well he only turned to booze after he and his wife separated and it really went downhill from there.

That Timo Hardy interview was deleted after having been up since 2021 something. Can't help thinking this is not a coincidence seeing how I posted it just a few days prior but I digress.

Timo has some legal problems in Russia, this might be the reason.
