I do remember reading about the then Lucianna Karel's hellish experience she had with him, espc around the issues of her school finding out about her career (shame on the school btw, backward narrow minded idiots) and the problems it caused her. I belief that is the real reason indeed.
PW does have some scenes in which the peeing is actually seen.
But in the scenes where he cuts out the Piss, I think he merely wants to give the impression that the girls are pissed on.
