But, let me put this in to your perspective...
My first post on cost cutting and being much more frugal saves 20,000 USD a year. That equates to 100,000 USD over 5 years.
My second post about the more careful use of the car saves 6,000 USD over 5 years.
The third post about shopping around, being more smart with strategies to reduce the car insurance of a prestige car equates to a saving of up to 10,000 USD over 5 years.
That means over a 5 year period...It is a saving of 116,000 USD. Interest rates where I am are relatively high at the moment, and I can get an interest rate of 4.5% (ish).
When you consider these bigger picture, financial aspects...you realise that it is not necessarily classed as living like a poor person, but just being more frugal and careful with your money.
If you are more financially astute, it is much easier to reach your goal of financial freedom.
