I miss scenes that did the same position more than once.

And IMO they went to great length to produce it.
The makeup and the costumes looked better than expected IMO.

but to me, it appeared like that movie tanked in sales.

And that's why we didn't got more of that.
They probably thought along the lines,
"all this extra effort and for nothing, no one was interested, all wasted."

I can buy that movie with free tkt and still haven't buy it.

Number one reason, the cuckold theme is an automatic skip.
For me, that killed the movie.

Number two was the trailer.

Agree with magizi about going back to core positions repeated at the end.

In my mind there are two golden rules for porn: Make the girl look good and fuck her good. I find that too much of the scenes shot today break these rules with awkward positions that don't show of the model in a good way and doesn't allow for good fucking. The examples by magizi87 all break the rules in at least one way. It seems to me that many directors focus too much on trying to be creative with novel positions rather than focusing on the basics.
Perhaps directors believe that just because there is a lot of freely available porn out there, they need to shoot content that hasn't been seen before? My advice would be to focus on image quality instead of novelty and always keep in mind the golden rules!

I have much respect for your opinion and concern, but I think it's not justified. As already stated, nobody here is claiming for rape or for tolerating it. It's a vile crime that deserves to be condemned and prosecuted. But fantasy and reality are two well distinct things: so a rape scenario could actually appeal in a porn production.
