Unreleased scenes

This isn't meant to be a complaint, just a curiosity. Why does LP have so many unreleased scenes? If you look at social media, it looks like popular stars like Linda Sweet, Timea Bella, and Blanche Bradburry (to name a few - Linda in particular claims there are 8 scenes she shot that are still floating in the ether, Timea 6), have many scenes filmed that haven't been released. And yet if we get a new e.g. Luna Rival or Belle Claire showing, it's released within a relatively short time. ??? Just seems odd. Were there technical issues that prevented them from being released? Surely not, because the studios would just cut those parts out. Is there bad blood that I'm unaware of? Or are these claims unfounded and they don't really exist? Again, just curious.

I agree as its been a huge bugbear for me for ages now. I am not sure if the logic is to stockpile in case for some unexpected reason current production levels drop, or some other reason. It's not as if we get a steady trickle, and the ones that are released often seem a little left field and not expected, eg the Anina one and Nataly and Inga
Not that they are bad scenes but just not some of the legendary ones many of us are waiting for, eg the aforementioned Tina Hot one plus the Twins and Ria etc.

Maybe they will decide to releae a load over the course of a weekend or something which would he nice.

You film scenes in advance anyway so I don't understand the hold back of these old scenes that were filmed months ago some even a year. You tease us with preview shots from scenes filmed last week and then release them within a fortnight but forget about the old scenes people have been calling for ages I don't understand the rotation.

I appreciate everyone's replies confirming my original question. So again, thank you everyone. But really what I was looking for is -- an official reason -- why does LP keep these scenes hidden for so long? AND THERE'S SO MANY! It just doesn't make financial sense to me... unless the thought is, "keep these scenes so we'll keep more members in order to charge them month after month with them expecting a specific scene"... but. Sorry, that seems like a reach. Seems more likely they'll quit, because they're not getting what they want. Seems more likely in the "porn" mindset. And also seems like bad business in terms of production. (shrugs) To sum it up - there's a lot of scenes I'm anxious to see... several have been posted by other members already. But really what I'm looking for is the original question - why does LP hold so many scenes for so long? Your studios are obviously producing scenes like crazy! At an impressive rate! Producing so much, in some instances they can't even pay their models. Short solution to the site overall -- Why not give these scenes to anxious members? (And yes, I am one!) There are several hidden scenes I would ABSOLUTELY love to buy! That would solve the problem of "payment" immediately! "I haven't been payed"... "okay, here's an advance to the studio"... where did we receive this extra money? Umm... yeah, that's obvious at this point. So really - please give us this much-desired scenes. Linda and Arwen? Are you kidding me? Charge me whatever you want, I'll buy it! WHY HOLD THESE SCENES!!!??? WHY?

Paradoxically, hiding those scenes that makes those who are thrifty and have a small amount of tickets, keep them still and do not seem them because they save them in the hope that it will soon appear. For this reason, they do not buy neither the old nor the new scenes.
They do not buy new scenes, because they save tickets these old scenes. They do not buy the old scenes, because scenes are hidden in the safe.

In my opinion, an interesting solution would be (for a few weeks) share two scenes Gonzo every day. One number below SZ1000 and one above SZ1000.

You should try to get closer to his quality level (and price), then you'll probably get more sales.
I'm pretty sure old scenes with famous girls would sell better than most of the recent gonzo releases.

XXX, I think you are releasing to much filler content only. I could speak only for myself but I could easily buy 3 scenes a day if they were all new or somewhat recently shot scenes with beautiful girls with the demanded fetishes.

I don't agree with trying to find average looking girls because they are more abundant when you have spoiled us with superstars that are not only beautiful but do it all like Arwen Gold, Timea Bella and Linda Sweet. These beauties broke the mold of what I think about contract girls. I personally have not bought scenes for 2 days because it is not what I want to see. I miss the days of multiple scenes with special girls we fell in love with. The familiarity of Timea quirkiness and Arwen/Linda animalistic passion was always enduring even though these girls were skinnier than my ideal. It is funny because I own all there scenes even though I say they are not my ideal. Linda Sweet scene was tempting but that yellowish tint reminded me of an 80's porn scene so it was a pass. Like others have said that Arwen and Linda scene seems like a cash cow and don't understand the wait either.

I'll never understand how holding the scenes customers want to see improving sales. I buy what I want as soon as it is released otherwise I don't buy. The days of supporting a fetish is long gone for me. I no longer buy a fetish to support it being filmed because we have a larger diverse customer base now.

I think removing the whole free ticket system removes the need to archive scenes for years. I know I'm making assumptions but that is the only reason I can imagine waiting to release scene because you don't want them all to be free around the same time. I have over 500 free tickets with nothing to spend them on. The free ticket system benefits only the casual LP customers while the more passionate loyal customers pays the premium scene price.

XXX, I understand what you say, but I don't really see where this is all going.

From what I see on the forum every day, Gonzo shoots at least 2 scenes a day (Monday - Friday). So that's 10 scenes a week, but you only release 7 a week. So you're stockpiling 3 scenes every week.

Let's say the studio takes a break for about 6 weeks during the year due to vacation reasons, we're talking about 460 scenes that are shot in a year. The max release amount would be 365, so you're stockpiling 95 scenes in a year.
It just gets more and more every day and I don't see the reason why you're doing that. The only options that make sense is a) shoot less (please no!) or b) release more (yes please!).

I can only speak for myself but I'm def willing to buy a whole bunch of scenes a day if the content is good enough. Also, as another member already pointed out on a different topic, scenes tend to lose steam as they get older. I'm not that much interested in - let's say for the sake of argument - a two year old Ria Sunn scene when I know you got probably better recent stuff with her in the can (on which I know I have to wait maybe another year - that's just frustrating).

Maybe you should try to release some older stuff (shot till the end of 2015?) in packages and see how sales will go. Would sure be paradise for most members.

Good place as any for this blockbuster release, just aging in the archives. If something was to change on these models bodies it would really reduce my interest in this scene as I would want to see the model as she is now, not a dated scene! For example Blanche Bradburry, if she has a bunch of puppy-less stocked scenes I don't care about them anymore as I want to see scenes with her new puppies not stuff from the ancient archives.

Contrary to OP I actually think it does make sense to stockpile a backlog, let it be 200 scenes as Dorfmeister caunted, its just over half a year releases than and nobody knows what the future brings. I also think for marketing reasons its good not to shoot off all ammunition at once. If a fave model like Linda Sweet retires than you still have those currently 8 scenes with her - its always better than none!

This said, I think your current shooting schedule could be more sustainable. At the moment the ration of "old" girls and newbies is oubalences for the latter while at the same time we have no real leading model anymore. Arwen, Linda and Timea is gone, Susan Ayn is too occuppied with other works to hold any anchor.
I also definitely would like you to shoot more DAP on your own again! I know GIO does deliver a lot of dap scenes recently, but I wouldnt like to have to relay only on him, also for reasons of style. If, however, like in September 2016, Luis and Stefano shoot only 3 new DAP scenes and release 3 older ones, its neither enough nor sustainable!

Anyway, please keep on the solid work, but try to reach more sustaiability instead of shooting too many new girls. Fans need leading LP starlets like they had in 2015! Make a sales potential analysis please and re-book the best selling girls for more scenes again, including DAP of course, as this act sells best anyway!

And about unreleased gems, keep them till release, but use social media and the forum to avoid throwing pearl away for too cheap! Increase sales!

Of the top 100 best sellers, there are TWO 1-on-1 scenes.

Being generous and saying that LP releases three scenes per day, there should be maybe two of those released per month. Yet we've had two in the last two days.

If you're going to hoard so many unreleased scenes, at least put out some good ones.

I understand xxx's point of view. It's a business and it's a balance of supply and demand.

Trouble is, you have no visibility of possible lost sales because not enough product is the shop window.

If you downscale production too much, you can be on a slippery path downhill whereby fewer memberships/tickets get sold because fewer people are attracted to come into the shop and buy.

Some customers may cry because of higher prices, but I think quality costs and the best girls don't come cheap.

For myself, I'd rather pay more for great niche content than see a great site like LP get stuck in a vicious circle of cost-cutting.

I noticed that 'SZ' scenes now come up with a GONZO.COM watermark instead of LEGALPORNO.COM

And if one goes to GONZO.COM you get a half baked website that tje only thing it does is redirect you to legalporno.
It also says that you guys film "mostly POV content" which is just not true. Not really looking for much POV style myself, but POV fans are gonna be disappointed.

Anyways I think it's redundant to have a GONZO.COM website that kinda doesn't really do anything.

Also. For videos the watermark seems to be randomly placed every time. It would be really cool if it could be fixed in the corner permanently, using coordinates or something.

And.... I have a question, is sineplex still in business or rather, are they still partners with legalporno?
