Global Economic Downturn Actually Leads me to Buy More Porn

The global economic downturn (well at least in the US where I live) actually leads me to stay home from distanced vacations, which ultimately leads me to having more saved up to use for porn. I was actually concerned about this scenario back at the beginning of the year, but I fear no longer. I still have my job and salary, but not everyone can say that. I'm thinking the people that are still employed and are white-collar workers, they might save more since they are now competing with AI for their jobs along broke consumers generally. So, while they are not going on expensive vacations, they still have to be entertained and that's where porn comes in, which you can still buy a great amount of porn for just a couple hundred bucks. That might offset some of the losses from people who lost their jobs.

With sad news though, it appears that EKS is leaving the platform. She didn't say the revenue was the problem, but the payout. But if the revenue was so good, then the payout percentage wouldn't matter as much. She also stressed the change of policies, which might have something to do with all the smaller studios being visible. I actually like being able to login every day to a store filled with porn. Too bad that it always seems like there isn't always enough money going around. As much as the bringing back of visibility is a good thing for us consumers, I do feel like the big studios need to be protected. THEY ARE TOO BIG TO FAIL. I will keep an eye out for her on the internet.

Christopher, I think this post rather would belong to General discussions than GIO studio tread, so here: viewforum.php?f=96
There you would get more answers for sure as well. ;)

Anyway, about porn spendings I fee a bit the same, although living in Europe.
I just need a certain level of DAP entertainment meanwhile, especially on holidays. Problem just is that core studios, especially Prague heritage studios like GIO/AH and AGO dont produce as much as I need!
Russia is dead. EKS might get convinced to come back to Pornbox though. Lets hope!
Small studio wave is mainly about old scenes, often from around 2000, here Pornbox feels worst for me.

I don't even know how I managed to put something so general into this discussion group. Thanks for the heads up and I will start over in the general discussion :)

But yeah, I agree with you a lot with the low output. I think I mentioned before that if GIO released less frequently, the average amount of money they make for each video goes up. While that might still be true, what I learned is that if I'm not getting any pleasure from a particular scene, I just won't buy it. As a way to try to keep the studio afloat, I do buy older scenes from time-to-time, but that's bad, because I'm not providing enough incentive for newer scenes to continue to be made. But yeah, I really do want to spend more.

Any Administrator is free to delete this post as I'm going to move this to the general discussions.
