Monika Wild used to be a really big name probably around 2015ish. I understand that she gained a little bit of extra weight and some can argue that the slimmer version of her was hotter. It may also be that 2024 is different and what made a performer successful during 2015, doesn't work so much today.

Me personally, I'm still a fan, but can she also make you a fan of hers so that she can continue producing with GIO?

I would like to know your thoughts.

Not sure I understand the question. She's been back for a while now and has shot a number of recent scenes for GIO and others. If you're asking what happened during the 3 or so years she didn't shoot for LP, then no idea - personal issues/general life stuff probably.

Also, you really told people to be careful what they say as she may read it, and then completely out the blue talked about how she put on weight... I mean come on dude.

He is not asking what happened to her during those 3 years, he's sugarcoating his words and telling us he finds her FAT. He says "some can argue" because he hasn't got the balls to tell you "some" = Christopher_Williams1 otherwise he would tell us who "some" are as I didn't read about it. He tells us he's "still" a fan = despite her becoming "less slim" & thus "less hot" = FAT.

I wanted to clear up everything. I did not attack her weight. I'm a fan and wouldn't do that. Now, there are some stars that you will find 2 different versions of them. Abbie Maley is an actress that gained weight and it looked better on her. And then Jennifer White, I will lean more toward the slimmer version of her. And to hit on this point a little bit more, I like the brown-haired version of April Paisley a little bit more. I'm not attacking the previous version of any of them.

I attached a screenshot of a Monika's profile. Pornbox doesn't do rankings, but she was clearly a top-10 or maybe a top-5 actress around 2017 and 2018. For year 2023, no trophies. So out of curiosity, I was wondering if it's just that much harder to be a top seller in 2023 or people really like the 115 lbs over the 130 lbs version of Monika. For me, I like both versions and I will continue to support her work.

Actually, she recently did a cocktail scene that caused me to make a mess everywhere, so my soldier still salutes with her. And no, whatever her weight is, she wouldn't be considered fat. But some guys might prefer the slimmer version. I was hinting at her being a top actress around 2017ish and noticed that's no longer the case. It might not be her additional 15 lbs or so that she gained. We do have newer studios today that take away from some of the would-be sales for GIO.

Monika Wild is great, and I hope to see more of her at GIO studios.

Anyhow, Monika first appeared in September, so it could have just been a bad day for sales those days that she performed. I forecast that one of her scenes for 2024 will have a nice breakout.

There's nothing wrong with his computer, this issue has come up before on the forum and it looks like pornbox gives different "best selling" results for different users. And then when you try it on analvids you'll get different results again. It's puzzling and I don't know why it does this. For example here is what it shows me for the most sold GIO scenes for December 2023 - you can see all three of us get different results

I wasn't really saying that his computer is broke, but his results seem to be quite off from what the financial statements would say. I was logged in with Pornbox when I got my results and I'm pretty sure they're very accurate. But yeah, I would agree "best selling" should be the same for all users because 2 is greater than 1. And 3 is greater than 2. But, it might be a good thing that they have their algorithm like that, because people are more likely to buy what they may have thought was a top-seller (how can so many people be wrong, some may ask).

Brother, you, Monika, and I can all agree that the only thing that really matters is that she is well-compensated and that she produces content for years to come. And you're right, I can't be 100% sure because I'm not an admin of the site, but... I've spent enough hours on the site looking at profiles, and reading forums to know the fans' favorites and can even make good recommendations to studios on whom would do very well for them at this point. I saw some things in your screenshot that made me question the accuracy of your results. But, it really doesn't matter. I feel that Monika will have a better 2024 year.

You have no idea which best sellers list is correct because the order is different for every user. This was first discussed on the forum years ago and it's always been this way, it's obviously using some kind of algorithm to sort scenes for each individual user, so it's absolutely pointless to argue that mine are right and yours are wrong or whatever. You also need to remember that the people who post on the forum represent a *tiny* percentage of LP's customers, so what you read on here does not necessarily reflect the market.

I just mentioned her new looks and comeback performance in my comeback Poll thread (viewtopic.php?f=96&t=77176) because I am surprised she got no votes so far at all.

I prefereed her thinner like in her beginnings and I think I can say and write that because also Monika Wild knows she changed her frame and maybe that was even intended for her other works. My problem was her performance after comeback, though.
Maybe it's just that in 2016/7 at her GIO start she was really pushing an envelope which has become standard meanwhile? Anyway, her performance wasnt something extraordinary anymore. It was very pleasant to see her back, but for me she lost way too much in terms of anal/DAP-ability during her 3y or absence.

As for her sales: My algorithm shows pretty low sales, which made me worried for her, because I want her re-booked by GIO definitely. Now as jjwhite pointed out every user seems to get his personal sales rank algorithm, which is pretty strange.
This said, however, if you rank her scenes sales from 2016 till now and counter-check on a sales per nationality ranking you still can draw some conclusions. And these dont look very optimistic for Monika Wild.

The main, main point of this thread was to determine what was the reason for the rise and fall of Monika. And if Monika were to read this thread, you provided her with concrete steps she can take to get back closer to her 2018 self.

You said her performance didn't make the comeback, so maybe you can expand further if you like. Maybe she can also ask GIO for tips, but he's really good though at originally getting the most out of chicks, setting them up for optimal success.

To one of the posters who mentioned that Monika gained a tiny little bit of weight...I think she looks much better with that, and with some more feminine curves...some of her recent scenes are a welcome return to her hardcore porn days at LPAV...long may it continue...
