Awhile back I posted a suggestion to increase bitrate from 30kbps to 60kbps to match a certain other studio's quality.

Instead, Giorgio decided to offer even worse quality. I agree, the artifacts suck. While I can't call the quality "horrible" overall, as this would be an exaggeration, I don't understand the step back. People's internet speeds have increased the past 10 years, why would they just now be concerned about file size? VR files are taking 20GB and more....

I meant to say 60 mbps - oops, but you knew what I meant. Facialabuse.com, ghettogaggers.com - you have to pay extra for videos in the 4k portal though, and the site navigation isn't the best. But you won't find most insanely eye popping video quality anywhere else (now if the content is to your taste, that's another story). Although I don't like all the puking (and racism in some videos), the facials at the end are good, and the anal action in some of the videos is basically real-life quality.

I had literally just canceled my membership over this, but decided I'd come in once a week to see if any updates. Can confirm they reverted to the old (better) bitrate, on Mr. Anderson's Anal Academy scene yesterday too. Guess I'm back. The site should actually care about my business as I throw down a couple grand a year easily, lol. I can't be the only one.

Some are saying the higher bit rate quality is back and others highlighting that it is not.

I thought only nee videos as of 2days ago are now the higher bit rate, but all older videos are not fixed.

depends from when the video is encoded, not when its released. Last week the higher quality was restored (for encoding), but maybe some videos are encoded since weeks already, with old setting.
If you purchased some scenes where the files is not like it should, let me know about it. I will fix them one by one

I guess it depends on who does the encoding for releases and what instructions they were working to when each scene was delivered and prepared for release.

I don't buy enough scenes to make a real valid comparison, but as isolated examples from Giorgio's studios:

XF309 Sofie Otis released on 29 April has a bitrate of 30 Mbit/sec for the 4K file

GL841 Tina released on 16 April has a bitrate of 16 Mbit/sec for the 4K file

The quality of the Sofie Otis scene looks sharper and better to my eyes.

I wish the Tina's 2 scenes could be re-encoded to the same quality. Thank you Giorgio

For example NRX release 30 April Sofa Weber has a bitrate of only 16 and the picture looks "soft" to my eyes.

Erika Korti's release on 30 April of EKS159 Anita Amo is at a bitrate 24 which to my eyes looks OK and clearly better than other scenes encoded at a bitrate of 16.

Of course, different scenes can be captured using different cameras, lenses, camera settings, gimballs to stabilise the cameras, different cameramen, post-processing, etc. etc.
All kinds of factors can influence final image sharpness and quality.

Hi, Giorgio! The question of video quality is very exciting, sorry for the persistence, but it is important for connoisseurs of high-quality video!
Only the 4K (2160p) resolution has changed, the bitrate was set to ~30,000 kbit/s, the remaining resolutions 1080p, 720p, 480p remained with a low bitrate.

Can you once again help bring back the old encoding bitrate of 4K (2160p), 1080p, 720p, 480p (which was changed around the end of March 2023):
4K (2160p) ~32000 kbit/s,
1080p~12000 kbit/s,
720p~4500 kbit/s,
480p~2500 kbit/s.

These were excellent bitrates when encoding!!!
We are really waiting!!!

Hi Giorgio, i bought quite a few scenes from that bad bitrate era. Besides the two Heloise ones i mentioned above could you please fix these with the better 4k quality when you get a chance? If I could only choose two though, it'd be the Heloise ones. Thank you.
