I put a nostalgia warning, but its only 1,5y back.
From Summer 2018 at GIO we have almost no BTS anymore.
Before we got some funny light added bits every 10 scenes or so.
Since then ist every 100th scene at highest, its dead boring BTS with no joking around, just usually dead silence and it all depends on the girl, only she might add sth bright.
No wonder GIO almost abolished those BTS.

Now whats the reason of change?
Giorgio Grandi is shooting much less scenes himself.
It had to be done to get logistics reformed, and also to get Wondertoys side-company founded and working. Giorgio and Tarra just can't do all alone!
I supported that move, lobbied and still do quite a lot for more GIO and GLab scenes to be produced...
And indeed, output is stable, high, GIO has turned into a sustainable porn factory.
BUT I see now that the price users pay in terms of joyful BTS - but also overall atmosphere on set is quite high.


Easiest remedy would be to get Giorgio Grandi back in his pre-Summer 2018 joyfulness!
Is this possible? - I doubt, times gone dont come back easily again.

But would it be maybe possible to get some of more funny BTS back?
Russian support director can't shoot them because he doenst feel that drive, he already showed that. It was possible to clone Giorgio as a porn director, but not a BTS director.
But maybe a GIO actor stud could do it?
Dylan did it once with Kira Thorn...
Maybe better Ricky?

Sb else really missing those funny Giorgio BTS and that light pre-Summer 2018 GIO shooting athmo?

Suggestions:

Use a little BTS footage on [spam], forum, etc. to generate interest and anticipation before releasing a scene with a new and/or famous model, or a new storyline or series.

Consider live-streaming BTS for some special events.

If Giorgio is considering bringing a selected fan onto some sets (his "screen husband" idea, etc.) why not get them to shoot some BTS strictly under the studio's control and consider releasing some of that footage if it's useable?

Also, out-takes and bloopers by their nature are already captured on video - no further filming required.
Currently they're presumably edited out and discarded - work being done already.

How much more work is it to edit them out of the main scene, not discard them, and then edit them into a "blooper reel" or little segment at the end of the scene.

Didn't Giorgio do something like this with the "Vampires" storyline back in the day - with Evelina as the vamp princess sitting up and banging her head on the coffin lid? I enjoyed that.
