She's likely business minded. She looked at the course of the industry, the increased popularity in watersports.

Hopefully, she's sticks with that mentality and does the GIO gauntlet, 'goes wet', 'Basined' etc, I doubt it's a personal reason. More a timing one.
She was just in two scenes with GIO where she took it in the ass and was right near it - she probably realized she had been over-reacting and the fact that it's not as gross as perhaps she thought.
